Meanwhile, the locals are gearing up for the premiere of a new docudrama film called Titanic: One Story, which would be the cornerstone piece of a new Titanic exhibit, to open Labor Day weekend at the Midwest Minnesota History Center. The director selected their town as the location for some of the scenes, and many local residents are featured as extras in the movie. There will be a huge gala dinner and celebration for the grand opening. Tragedy strikes when the director dies suddenly, and there are a number of suspects.
Katie finds herself in the midst of it all and doesn’t know anyone in town well enough to know who she can trust.
Maverick, Movies, & Murder is a thrilling piece of literature that engrossed, entertained, and excited me from the very first page! Everything about this piece of suspenseful literature was exciting; the characters, as well as the settings the reader gets to experience, and the incredible literature courtesy of the wonderful Mary Seifert, made me fall madly in love with this book! Maverick, Movies, & Murder is a book that can only be described as a read that should not be missed and so if you are looking to read a book that will grasp your attention from the first page and hold it throughout then already I would implore you lovely readers to read this book because it is utterly brilliant!
Maverick, Movies, & Murder is a shocking and terrific mystery and suspense tale that will take its readers on a dark and twisty journey from start to finish. The reader in Maverick, Movies, & Murder will meet the star and protagonist of the novel, Katie Wilk. Katie is a woman who has lost everything due to great tragedy and decides to start her life over in Columbia, Minnesota, where she embarks on a new career and has a new companion, Maverick – an adorable black Labrador retriever.
It is here however in Columbia, that her life becomes even more complicated when Katie and Maverick discover a dead body. The reader will follow Katie and Maverick as they become involved with strange goings-on in the town and when the director of a movie filmed in their town, turns up dead Katie must find out what to do and who she can trust amongst all the death and havoc, and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Maverick, Movies, & Murder!
The story of Maverick, Movies, & Murder is an incredibly captivating, unique piece of work that took my breath away on more than one occasion, the pacing of this story was wonderfully written and plotted so that I did not get bored at any given time. Never once did I find myself referring to the page number and that is a sure sign that this incredible book is a compelling piece of work that draws the reader in and captivates them to read it quickly and to reach the end of the book very fast!
The excellent author of this novel, Mary Seifert effortlessly takes the reader on a thrilling journey; Seifert’s words managed to keep me intrigued as well as entertained as I raced through this book. It is the kind of book that is impossible to put down, and when I had to I longed for it! I wanted to be reunited with the story I had grown to love and the characters I had become invested in.
Mary Seifert is a talented and well-accomplished author who has written an unforgettable novel that features heavily on its characters and themes. Seifert’s characters are superb, and I think every reader will be able to invest in them! They are believable, and their narratives jump right off the page and into the reader’s minds and this is another thing! Seifert has managed to create a vivid picture in my mind of the setting she has established.
To summarize my thoughts on the remarkable novel that is Maverick, Movies, & Murder; I would say if you are a reader who is tired of reading the same old books that are lackluster and forgettable then take a chance with this one because I promise you now that you will not be disappointed! Maverick, Movies, & Murder gets five stars from me! Be sure to have a read of the preview below book lovers, you won’t regret it!
