RED HEADED BOOK LOVER

Maldene: Volume Two, Mark Anthony Tierno

The first Maldene novel concludes in Volume 2 as Sabu, Eldar, and Sindar and the rest go on a quest to unearth the remains of the last and grandest of the Great Human Kingdoms of old, Thïr Tÿorca. Their goal: Find what they can in the ancient ruins that can help them in their coming battle against the forces of Miro, and maybe even unearth the reason why it seems as Thïr Tÿorca had remained free of Miro’s touch so long ago. The problem: Is this just another one of Miro’s deeply laid plans, or a shred of hope?

While this brings the first novel of Maldene to a truly epic finale’, this is still only the first chapter in a saga that will span the stars and challenge your imagination. Just to put things into perspective, this first full Maldene novel- Volumes One and Two in combination- is on par, in terms of both plot and length, with the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy combined. And this is only the beginning.

Like for any good epic, this second half of the first novel of Maldene has some extras. The appendices at the end of Volume Two include an alphabet, dictionary of local words, and some added notes about the world of Maldene that bring it all to life. For this is more than simply a story, this is… legend.

Maldene: Volume Two is a dramatic, thrilling and exciting novel that will keep readers entertained, captivated and engrossed from the very first page. Never before have I been so captivated by a story and this is thanks to the exceptional author Mary Anthony Tierno and his talented literature and so, if you are a reader who loves to be taken on an adventure that is memorable as well as captivating, then Maldene: Volume Two is for you!

Maldene: Volume Two is a breathtaking sequel that will re-introduce the reader to the protagonist of the book Sabu. In book one the reader is introduced to Sabu, a young wizard who embarks on a mission with his elven friend to seek a destiny that has been told to them. However, along the way they faced many dangers, especially Miro, the evilest being of all and their mission was to stop Miro as well as uncover long-buried secrets at the same time.

In Maldene: Volume Two, the reader is reintroduced to Sabu, Eldar and is also joined by Sindar as they continue their mission to ‘unearth the remains of Thir Tyorca,’ the greatest and last kingdom of the Great Human Kingdoms. However, along the way, they will be faced with many battles, including Miro again and this book lovers is the premise of the sensational Maldene: Volume Two!

The story of Maldene: Volume Two is excellent and incredibly well-developed thanks to the author of the book. Mark Anthony Tierno manages to develop his world with immaculate detail; every event, character, and setting is well thought out and planned, and I was impressed by his flawless ability to do this. As I read Maldene: Volume Two, I immediately was drawn into the book and felt captivated by the author’s spellbinding literature. Mark Anthony Tierno’s writing is detailed in the most immaculate of ways; the text is detailed but not too dense, it is beautifully written so that the reader will be able to immerse themselves in the story from beginning to end without difficulty.

Not only is Mark Anthony Tierno talented for his descriptive powers, but he is also a phenomenal writer thanks to the characterization of the protagonist of the novel Sabu. Sabu is a character every reader will be able to root for, his grit and determination to not give up and to fight his way to learn the truth and stop evil will inspire readers and make many care about him and invest in his journey. The author has essentially written a character study of Sabu, and I adore this approach in literature because it makes the story even more immersive and entertaining for a reader. Being able to accompany Sabu on his journey was incredible, and because the author captivates his readers from the start, the reader will feel as if they are in the same situation as Sabu, they too will be finding their way through the mystery and feel the same emotions of fear and excitement just as Sabu does.

As Maldene: Volume Two is a dramatic, compelling and action-packed adventure that will entertain and delight readers for hours on end, I, of course, have to award this incredible book five stars!

Mark Anthony Tierno

I love it when someone enjoys reading a book nearly as much as I enjoyed writing it!
