When I read the description of Wild Horses I was sold and knew that I had to read it as well as review it so that all you lovely readers could read about it! It has been a while since I have been this captivated by a story of this nature and this is thanks to the exceptional author Amy Pendino who managed to delight me effortlessly with her tale which is unique and incredibly entertaining!
Wild Horses is a thought-provoking and compelling mystery tale that will keep you entertained and engrossed from beginning to end! The reader will meet the protagonist of the novel Dani Holden, a woman living in a small town in Iowa called Crestview. It is here however that Dani must find a way to make money to stay and to look after her newly adopted old racehorse. Dani’s friend Donna, introduces Dani to Jim, a trucker who has an opportunity for her to make some “easy money”, but is it really that simple?
The reader will follow Dani as she debates whether to take him up on his offer while also learning that a former resident of the town, 80-year-old Lilly, thinks she has located the child she gave up years ago. The reader will follow Dani as she embarks on a journey that will unearth secrets and keep you entertained from start to finish, and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Wild Horses!
The story of Wild Horses is excellent and incredibly well-developed thanks to Amy Pendino, the author of the book. Pendino manages to develop her world with immaculate detail; every event, character, and setting is well thought out and planned, and I was impressed by Pendino’s flawless ability to do this. As I read Wild Horses, I immediately was drawn into the book and felt captivated by Pendino’s literature, and this is for many reasons. The main reason is that Pendino’s literature is detailed in the most immaculate of ways, the text is detailed but not heavy, and it is beautifully written so that the reader will be able to immerse themselves in the story from beginning to end without difficulty.
While reading Wild Horses, the reader will be able to feel Amy Pendino’s pursuit of literary perfection. Pendino’s riveting tale keeps the pages turning of their own accord, and it makes for such captivating reading! Pendino seamlessly hooks the reader and immediately immerses the reader in her story through her fast-paced writing style, beautifully detailed descriptions, and flawless character integration.
Overall Wild Horses sends you into a tailspin of an emotionally charged journey packed full of exciting twists and turns that leave you both guessing and wanting more. Once you pick up Wild Horses, you won’t be able to put it down…I know I couldn’t! Of course, with such a fantastic piece of literature, I have to award Wild Horses five stars!
