Watching is a sensational novel that should not be missed! The story that unfolds throughout it is genius, flawlessly written, and wildly entertaining. When I read the premise of Watching, I knew instantly that it was a book I had to read as well as a book I would love, and this is thanks to the themes alluded to throughout the premise. Now that I have finished Watching I can say that this book was incredible and that is why I already have to recommend this wonderful novel to you lovely readers, however, if you need more convincing then continue to read to learn more!
Watching is a sensational, sci-fi tale with a twist that will take its readers on a thrilling and powerful journey that will entertain readers from start to finish! The reader in Watching will be introduced to the protagonist of the novel, Josh Lowenstein as his world is turned upside down when he is able to psychically travel through time and space. After watching a documentary about a 50-year-old cold case, the visions begin and he must embark on a journey that sees him thrust backward in time as he must unravel a mystery while trying to stay sane. It makes for a compelling and addictive read in which we follow Josh closely as he finds himself caught up with mob bosses, stolen art, the FBI, and much more and what follows is a brilliant and cleverly written sci-fi tale that shouldn’t be missed!
Watching is a twisty turny, and exhilarating novel and although I thought I knew where the book was going to go at points, it didn’t go that way and instead took a U-turn and it was captivating! The themes combined and laced throughout Watching perfectly complement the atmosphere of the book and story. As I read Watching, I found myself racing through it, turning the pages with haste thanks to its addictive nature.
Jeffrey Jay Levin is the author of Watching and is an author who has written a fantastically thrilling story and come up with a brilliant and original plot. Levin from the very start sets the tone of the novel; he lets his readers know that this is going to be a thrilling but smart novel and you should prepare to lose some sleep over the captivating nature! Levin is an exceptional writer because he grabs his reader’s attention from the start very quickly and keeps them engrossed until the end. There are no long build-ups that drag in Watching; instead, the reader will be thrown into the thick of the story quickly, and the result of this is exciting!
To conclude my thoughts on this wonderful book, Watching is a superb novel that has everything a reader would want in a story; it has a thrilling narrative, magnificent plot development, and excellent characterization that will hook and excite its readers so of course, I have to award this impressive piece of literature five stars!
