The Sapien Empire is a book I have been keen to read ever since discovering it. I admit, my expectations going in were high, maybe too high! Thanks to the description that intrigued me and I thought perhaps they would not be exceeded, but now that I have finished The Sapien Empire I can happily write that they were! And that is why The Sapien Empire is a novel that should be read and loved! However, if you need more convincing then continue to read to learn more!
The Sapien Empire is a unique and brilliant tale that will take its readers on a thrilling and fast-paced journey from start to finish. The reader in The Sapien Empire will be taken on a journey into a post-apocalyptic future where we meet the brilliant engineer, Shindo Daca, who is responsible for making some of the most advanced machines in society, however, these are wrongly exploited by its tyrannical ruler Vibrun Magrite. Shindo knows only suffering as with the others in this hell, he witnesses the struggle of the people and so he tries to do something good, using his engineering skills to provide prosthetic limbs to the victims of Magrite’s wars. However, this backfires and when Magrite finds out he kills his best friend as punishment and so our story begins.
The reader will follow Shindo as he embarks on a journey to enact revenge and free the people from the clutches of Magrite and his tyranny but it won’t be easy and he will question himself along the way and the result is a thrilling and unforgettable tale that shouldn’t be missed!
The Sapien Empire is a thrilling novel thanks to the enthralling moments as well as the unpredictable nature of the book that will have the readers turning the pages with haste from beginning to end. I love books that involve a journey, and the reader has just this in The Sapien Empire as the reader is taken on a brilliant journey from start to finish. What I loved most about The Sapien Empire is that the reader is taken on a journey that is continuously evolving and changing which in turn kept me hooked from beginning to end.
The Sapien Empire managed to entertain me for many hours on end thanks to the unique premise of the story as well as the excellent literature courtesy of Nathan Ogloff. Very rarely do I discover a book that captivates me as fast as The Sapien Empire has so the fact that I am so taken with this book shows you, readers, that this book indeed is incredible and not to be missed!
Nathan Ogloff is an incredibly talented author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories. It was evident to me from the start that Ogloff is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining readers with his literature as well as thrilling them! From the beginning of The Sapien Empire, I found myself hooked and this is a testament to how incredible Ogloff’s book is.
To conclude my thoughts on the thrilling novel that is The Sapien Empire, I would say The Sapien Empire is a marvelous, stellar, and supreme book that will entertain, and delight readers from start to finish and so I, of course, have to award this book five stars!
