RED HEADED BOOK LOVER

The Gift of the Quoxxel, Richard Titus

What would you do if you were the monarch of a
perfect, tropical paradise without a care in the
world? Well, King Norr would like to leave, and
always has.

“Where else but Nibb?” his subjects would
contend. Venturing away from Nibb was only
inviting misery and “haddock.”

Nevertheless, the King was intent to experience
the world beyond his shores and this is the
story of the adventures that ensued.

Telling too much here will ruin the surprises in
store, but some of the mysteries include —

Who was the mysterious girl who would not speak?
Had Doctor Hinkus fallen prey to marauding drumbkins?
Whose prank set the Palace afloat?
What’s a spudcake?
Do pirates bathe?
Did Uncle Fenwad roll out of the Palace?
What’s a Sober Tooth Tiger?
Do Nibbian pigs have a future in aviation?
Do mollusks contain artillery?

Captain Gadd may be Norr’s ticket off the island, that is if the lagoon-lurking leviathan doesn’t eat them first.

It’s a “what-happens-next?” tale of Heart and Imagination for readers of all ages. And if you find it confusing, take Norr’s advice — almost anything can be resolved with an additional nap.

The Gift of the Quoxxel is a book I was keen to read ever since discovering it because I always love to find incredible and inspiring adventure/fantasy stories and The Gift of the Quoxxel is just this! The Gift of the Quoxxel is one of the most well written and well-developed stories I have ever come across, and I genuinely mean this. The Gift of the Quoxxel is an expertly written fantasy book with a story that is well developed and memorable and a story that I guarantee all readers of all ages with love thanks to its fast-paced but engaging narrative and the sensational story that unfolds!

The Gift of the Quoxxel is a sensational book that will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the novel, King Norr. King Norr lives in a tropical paradise and wants for nothing. Well, one thing he does long for is to venture beyond the shores he has always known and his kingdom and see what is beyond. The reader will follow King Norr as he does just this and will follow him on the many adventures he goes on, and this book lovers is the premise of the sensational The Gift of the Quoxxel!

The story of The Gift of the Quoxxel is a thrilling one thanks to the enthralling and action-packed moments as well as the unpredictable nature of the book that will have the readers turning the pages with haste from beginning to end. I love fantasy books that involve a journey because usually in these stories the character develops and grows as they overcome events which in turn adds to the development of the character and explores life lessons throughout the book and that is most certainly the case with The Gift of the Quoxxel.

Richard Titus is an incredible writer who knows how to capture readers attention from the start. Titus does this by placing the reader in the thick of the drama straight away with no long build up. The reader will be thrust into the story and because the reader experiences this so fast they will be hooked and captivated to read until the very end. Titus manages to ensure that his readers are entertained from beginning to end, and he does this by weaving twists and turns throughout his book as well as many jaw-dropping moments that will fascinate as well as excite readers.

Richard Titus is an incredibly talented author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories. It was evident to me from the start that Titus is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining readers with his literature and putting a smile on readers faces. I loved this about the author but what I loved the most about Titus’s writing is his remarkable descriptions because they genuinely amazed me. Fantasy novels, in general, are difficult to write because you have to transport the reader quickly and effortlessly, but sadly this is rarely accomplished in a fantasy story but not with The Gift of the Quoxxel. The Gift of the Quoxxel is the way it is because Titus knows what he is doing! Titus knows how to whisk his readers away and entice them with magnificent descriptions and keep readers entertained from start to finish!

Overall The Gift of the Quoxxel is a marvelous, stellar and supreme fantasy book that will entertain, delight as well as charm readers and so I, of course, have to award this book five stars! Be sure to have a read of the preview below book lovers; you will not regret it!

Do you have questions about this book? Hopefully, you do. It’s designed to keep you guessing from the moment you read the unusual title. What’s a Quoxxel? What gift does it bestow? Why does the cover show a pink pterodactyl soaring past towers Doctor Seuss could have imaginably designed for the Klingon home world? When I present this book to reviewers, I always request they divulge as few spoilers as possible. Why? What else is exploration than discoveries you uncover yourself. Where’s the fun if you know ahead of time every new experience you’re yet to have? This book is… Read more »
