The Field is a unique book that incorporates many themes throughout its story, and the result is captivating and makes the book incredibly unique. Because of the uniqueness of this book, I found myself falling in love with it even more. It is an incredible, thrilling, action-packed book that will keep readers intrigued and turning the pages with haste from beginning to end! That is why I would already implore you lovely readers to look at this astonishing book because it is just phenomenal!

The Field will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the novel, Eric Horton, a young man haunted by nightmares of destruction and devastation and the more he has them, the more real and more vivid they seem. The reader will follow Eric as he puzzles over what could be causing these horrific nightmares and whether they are just that or a foreshadow of what is to come. Things only become stranger for Eric when he starts to notice that he has a strange, supernatural awareness. Soon Eric will meet Renee, but more importantly, her father, a man who is running tests and who wants Eric as his subject and what happens next is shocking as well as incredibly entertaining, and this book lovers is the premise of the incredible The Field!

The story of The Field is brilliant, and I adored the journey the wonderful author took me on. Tracy Richardson managed to incorporate many unexpected twists effortlessly and turns so that the readers will turn the page with haste. As I read this book, I found myself re-reading parts because of how shocking it was! It was magnificent to feel this, and I love when an author does this to a reader, this is how reading should be! Full of shocks and surprises and great thrilling moments that you will remember for a long time; if not forever!

I had such high expectations for the book, especially since when I read the description so you can imagine my surprise as well as my delight when I found that my expectations were exceeded! Yes, book lovers, the phenomenal author Tracy Richardson managed to impress me more than I could ever have imagined. Richardson has injected an abundance of energy into the novel, and wow does it thrill and excite you but also move you!

Tracy Richardson is a talented author; there is no question about this. Richardson’s writing keeps the reader on the edge of their seat; her suspense-filled book reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies; there is a constant feeling of trepidation and a continuous sense of “what is going to happen next?!” as I read this book.

To conclude my thoughts on this exceptional story, I would say if you have been bored of late of the same old books that do not captivate you, then take a chance with this one because it is an all-consuming assault of brilliance that will keep you entertained from beginning to end! The Field gets five stars from me!
