Although The Business of Being does have a lot of information laced between its pages, it is in no way ever confusing and too much. Instead, Laurie perfectly combines facts with entertainment, and the result is a compelling, informative book that should not be missed!

The journey Laurie takes her readers on is incredible and will open many readers eyes to the mind, body and spirit and how it is just as important to focus on this as it is your work. Laurie explores many topics all thoroughly, and the result is eye-opening and sometimes shocking. I loved how Laurie did this in The Business of Being and decided to not only inform her readers but also open their eyes and again, the result was incredible.

In my review, I expressed briefly that Laurie’s text is never once confusing and this is undoubtedly true. In fact, Laurie’s writing is so easy to read and understand that even beginners will be able to read, understand and love the book because it applies to everybody with varying degrees of knowledge.

Laurie Buchanan has managed to accomplish the almost impossible… she has managed to write a business/self-help book that is not only informative and useful but also entertaining! I have to admit that I was surprised by just how enjoyable the book was; I believe this is thanks to Laurie’s easy to read, fluent writing style and her ability to keep her readers engaged from the start with the discussion of a new topic.

Overall The Business of Being is a fascinating, useful and informative guide that everybody in business should read because it will provide you with the tools necessary to grow especially mentally. As the book is genuinely brilliant and written flawlessly I, of course, have to award the book five stars! So please, have a read of The Business of Being and be informed as well as entertained!
