Imagine yourself, born into the suburbs, your parents working class people, your school nothing special. 

Imagine that, for some reason far beyond your understanding as a very young child, a god that you didn’t even know existed ear-marked you as his bargaining chip in a trade across realities. 

Imagine that, from the time of that first first meeting and for your next eighteen years, that god – Anubis – threw everything he could think of at you, to break you, to torment you, to forge you into this thing to be traded. 

And imagine that, at the end of it all, you passed all of the tests, leaving your life in a shambles, never knowing that you were being tested at all and, when the time came, Anubis appeared and tricked you into giving up your soul to him, only to make the trade and give you over to another god, named War, who by comparison made Anubis seem like a pretty nice guy.

Indomitus Est is a sensational book written by the exceptional and talented author Robert W. Brady Jr and wow what a stellar novel! Indomitus Est is a book I was keen to read ever since discovering it because I always love to find fantasy stories to read so when I discovered Indomitus Est I thought ‘is this finally the perfect book?!’. Now that I have finished Indomitus Est I can happily write that yes it is book lovers. Indomitus Est is one of the most well written and well-developed stories I have ever come across, and I truly mean this as Indomitus Est is exceptional and should not be missed!

Indomitus Est is a breathtaking novel that will introduce the reader to Randy Morden, the protagonist of the novel. Randy grew up in the suburbs, attended a regular school, and his life is pretty normal. However, a God known as Anubis has made Randy his ‘bargaining chip in a trade across realities,’ but before he can trade him, he has had to put Randy through tests throughout his years. This has shaped Randy to be a certain way so that Anubis can trade him successfully. I do not want to spoil what happens next book lovers but what follows is a sensational and captivating story that should not be missed!

The story of Indomitus Est is a thrilling one thanks to the enthralling and action-packed moments as well as the unpredictable nature of the book that will have the readers turning the pages with haste from beginning to end. I love books that involve a journey because usually in these stories the character develops and grows as they overcome events and battles which in turn adds to the development of the character and explores life lessons throughout the book and that is most certainly the case with Indomitus Est. What I loved most about Indomitus Est is that the reader is taken on an adventure that is continuously evolving and changing.

Robert W. Brady Jr is an incredibly talented author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories. It was evident to me from the start that Brady Jr is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining readers with his literature and putting a smile on readers’ faces. I loved this about the author but what I loved the most about Brady Jr’s writing is his remarkable descriptions because they genuinely amazed me. Fantasy novels, in general, are difficult to write because you have to transport the reader quickly and effortlessly, but sadly this is rarely accomplished in a fantasy story but not with Indomitus Est. Indomitus Est is the way it is because Brady Jr knows what he is doing! Brady Jr knows how to whisk his readers away to a fantasy land and entice them with magnificent descriptions and keep readers entertained from start to finish!

Overall Indomitus Est is a marvelous, stellar and supreme fantasy book that will entertain, delight as well as charm young readers and even adults! And so I, of course, have to award this book five stars! Be sure to have a read of the preview below book lovers, you won’t regret it!
