The Big If is an incredible tale that will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the book, Penelope Caruso-Byrne, a singer with a recognizable voice who is living her dream. Penelope has everything going for her, she makes a living doing what she loves, has a husband called Seth that supports her in her career and has a beautiful life. However, soon Penelope is offered a ‘sell-out’ opportunity by Marc Justin, a world-famous pop star and this offer will change her life. The reader will follow Penelope as she must navigate the intricacies of her career and her love life and her own identity and it makes for a beautiful and incredible tale that shouldn’t be missed! The story of The Big If is an incredibly entertaining one with many poignant and passionate themes laced throughout the book. Many books of this nature can be cliché and predictable but The Big If is definitely not this! As The Big If is a captivating, unique story full of powerful themes that are all excellently explored and weaved well together by the phenomenal author Sharisse Coulter who is an incredibly well-accomplished author.
The Big If is full of twists and turns galore, the book and the story that unravels is thrilling and will keep your hearts racing, and there are a few moments that will definitely evoke certain feelings in its readers. I love how the author kept me on edge constantly and made me feel a host of different emotions; Coulter is an exceptional writer because she knows just how to captivate her readers and keep them engrossed from beginning to end!
Sharisse Coulter is an incredible author who has managed to transfix and entertain me with her beautiful literature. I am impressed by the amount of depth Coulter has managed to lace throughout her book; Coulter ensures throughout her book that her readers are entertained and moved from beginning to end. As well as this, Coulter flawlessly weaves brilliant characterization and development of her characters that will keep the readers turning the pages from beginning to end.
Overall The Big If is an extraordinary piece of fiction that will entertain and captivate readers from beginning to end so I, of course, have to award the book five stars! It would be criminal not to. So please book lovers, have a read of this excellent book and get lost in an engrossing, captivating story… you will not regret it!
