Sophistries of Summer Days is a novel that will introduce the reader to two young women who form a connection that sticks with them through life. The reader will follow Cherrimina and Dove, two young women who in the 1930s, meet and their lives become entwined. They become entwined when Cherrimina witnesses Dove commit a crime and this is where our story really takes off. The reader will follow the pair as they eventually part ways but also when they reunite and it makes for a moving, shocking and incredible novel about friendship, war, loss and so much more and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Sophistries of Summer Days!
The story of Sophistries of Summer Days is well-developed with many layers that are all intricately well-developed as well as intriguing. The multiple layers throughout Sophistries of Summer Days, are fascinating and will have readers minds racing with thoughts as the reader is compelled to think constantly about the messages laced throughout the book. As I read Sophistries of Summer Days I loved the feeling of being challenged; I liked having to invest myself fully in the story as I tried to think about what was going to happen to the two women we had grown to know.
Jenny Lofters is an incredible author because she manages to pull the reader into the novel, captivate them and compel them to read from beginning to end and Lofters does this by lacing twists and turns throughout her book which will keep readers on edge. I tried to predict the plot many times, but Lofter’s story is so unpredictable that I could never once guess it correctly! The fact that the plot is so unpredictable makes it enthralling from beginning to end, and this is all thanks to the genius writer Jenny Lofters.
Sophistries of Summer Days Fast is incredibly captivating thanks to its incredible story as well as the author’s stellar writing that compelled me to read from the very beginning. Lofters can only be described as a literary talent as she knows how to captivate her readers from the start to the very end. Lofters is a writer who does not hold back, she thrusts her reader into the thick of the story very early on, and she keeps them turning the pages thanks to her excellent descriptive powers and this is one of the many things I loved about Sophistries of Summer Days!
Overall Sophistries of Summer Days is a stunning piece of fiction that will thrill, move and excite its readers, and so I have no choice but to award this brilliant book five stars!
