Shadows Rising has to be one of the best suspense novels I have ever had the pleasure of reading. When I read the description of Shadows Rising, I thought “wow, now this is a story I need to read!” and read it and love it I did book lovers! Shadows Rising is a thrilling novel that is the perfect novel for those looking to be taken on a dark, twisty-turny but emotive journey. The story the reader will encounter in Shadows Rising is shocking but also sensational, and unlike anything, I have read before.
As I read the book I noticed that the story is shrouded in a tremendous amount of mystery, secrecy, and suspense and the reader will not be able to guess where the plot is going at all and that is thanks to the talented author Amanda Berthault and how thrilling her literature is and how incredible her ability to keep her reader guessing from beginning to end is.
Shadows Rising is a thrilling novel that is emotive as well as shocking, and it is a novel that will take readers on an incredible but shocking story. Shadows Rising will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the novel Shadow McKinley, one of the world’s best heavy metal singers who finds himself back on top. However, with great success comes the dark side of fame but Dutch metal singer Nicoline Aldenberg is there to help and finally, he finds someone who understands him.
Shadow however will soon learn that with this partnership, comes danger as Nicoline’s ex-husband is violent and wants Shadow dead and what follows is a shocking and thrilling tale full of twists and turns and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Shadows Rising!
The story of Shadows Rising is well-developed with many layers that are all intricately well-developed as well as intriguing. The multiple layers throughout Shadows Rising, are fascinating and will have readers minds racing with thoughts as the reader is compelled to figure out the ending. As I read Shadows Rising I loved the feeling of being challenged; I liked having to invest myself fully in the story, it made for an amazing read!
Amanda Berthault is an incredible author because she manages to pull the reader into the novel, captivate them and compel them to read from beginning to end and Berthault does this by lacing twists and turns throughout her book which will keep readers on edge. I tried to predict the plot many times, but Berthault’s story is so unpredictable that I could never once guess it correctly! The fact that the plot is so unpredictable makes it enthralling from beginning to end, and this is all thanks to the genius writer Amanda Berthault.
Shadows Rising is incredibly captivating thanks to its incredible suspense and mystery laced throughout the book as well as the author’s stellar writing that compelled me to read from the very beginning. Amanda Berthault can only be described as a literary talent as she knows how to captivate her readers from the start. Berthault is a writer who does not hold back, she thrusts her reader into the thick of the drama very early on, and she keeps them turning the pages thanks to her excellent descriptive powers.
Overall Shadows Rising is a stunning piece of fiction that will thrill and excite its readers, and so I have no choice but to award this brilliant book five stars! If you are a reader who is looking to get lost in a fascinating novel full of shocks and thrills, then this book is definitely for you so please, do not miss out on the opportunity of reading this superb book!
