The reader will be introduced to five friends – Patrick, Jerry, Stu, John and Danny who form the band The Hound Dog and embark on a journey through music and friendship. Combidning both however is not always easy and the band find themselebs tested while doubts arise and ambitions stir and they begin to question each others motives. It makes for a thrilling and thought-provoking tale that will see the reader witness how this group of friends navigate this time in their lives and see if they overcome their hardships and it makes for an incredible read that shouldn’t be missed!

Hendricks’s characters are superb, and I think every reader will be able to find an attribute they like in them. They are believable, and their narratives jump right off the page and into the reader’s mind. This is another thing… Hendricks has managed to create a vivid picture in my mind of the settings she has established. Hendricks’s sometimes long, descriptive sentences, captured my imagination, and made me turn the pages with haste!
