Between Us is a unique crime novel that incorporates themes you would not traditionally see in this genre of book, such as romance and Christian themes! Which is thus one of the many attributes I love about the book! Because of the uniqueness of this book, I found myself falling in love with it even more. Between Us truly is an incredible, thrilling, suspense-filled book that will keep readers intrigued and turning the pages with haste from beginning to end! That is why I would already implore you lovely readers to look at this astonishing book because it is just phenomenal! Between Us is a phenomenal, heartbreaking, and thrilling novel full of many shocking moments that will take its readers on a captivating journey from start to finish. The reader in Between Us will meet a woman called Mimi de Soto, who dedicates her life to helping the elderly. Mimi is so passionate about this that she took on a run-down home and vowed to make it a safe haven for elderly patients that need it however, the home is soon far from safe, as a killer is on the loose. Five patients have ‘committed suicide’ but Mimi knows there is more to this and she must team up with her childhood sweetheart before more lives are lost and this book lovers is the premise of the incredible Between Us!
Between Us is a fantastic story that is brilliant from start to finish, and I adored the journey (although slightly terrifying at times!) the wonderful author Harper Gale took me on. Gale managed to effortlessly incorporate many unexpected twists and turns so that the readers will turn the pages with haste and I felt myself doing this from beginning to end!
As I read this book, I found myself re-reading parts because of how beautifully the text read. It was magnificent to feel this, and I love it when an author does this to a reader as this is how reading should be! Full of shocks and surprises and great thrilling moments that you will remember for a long time; and Harper Gale will certainly provide her readers with this within her book Between Us book lovers!
Overall, I would say that Between Us is an incredible novel and I would say if you have been bored of late of thriller and suspense books that well, don’t thrill you! Then take a chance with this one because it is an all-consuming assault of brilliance that will keep you entertained from beginning to end! Between Us gets five stars from me book lovers!
