RED HEADED BOOK LOVER

A Guardian Chronicle: Journal One, A. Russell

When one adventure ends, it signals the start of another…

Since the death of her parents, Josslyn Ward has made her career her priority. It was a logical path, practical even, but she could never shake the feeling that there is something else waiting for her.

“Let Me”

In a last-minute decision, she follows her instincts and hands in her notice at her successful job. From there, she opens Ward Books, a store where every book and unique trinket has a story. For many months the business takes off – but what she doesn’t anticipate is a precious item finding its way into her shop – one that’s strictly not for sale.

“It’s odd, because it feels like it should be mine.”

This mysterious woman named Wren Asa presents a gorgeous timepiece to her. Wren slowly peels away the history of the Creator and the three protectors of the realms – Warriors, Healers, and Guardians. They are overseers, watching but not interfering with the natural order unless circumstances cannot be avoided. The inner voices in her head click in together, but Josslyn’s role in this remains a mystery, while in her hands is a guardian’s timepiece.

“Trust her. Let me.”

The timepiece has been passed through her lineage, and it is now Josslyn’s turn to take up the mantle. Is she ready to face the demons waiting for her – in the past, present, and the future?
