I admit that I was hooked on this book before I even started to read it; the description of the book managed to intrigue me straight away and ever since reading it I knew I had to get lost in the story of Chasing Cleopatra. Chasing Cleopatra is an incredible novel that charmed and moved me with its multiple themes and plot avenues and already I would implore you lovely readers to have a read of this book!
Chasing Cleopatra is a novel that weaves many incredible themes that will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the book, Cleopatra Gallier, a woman in her 40s working as a TV host on the beautiful island of Hawaii. Cleo’s life, filled with hobbies, family, and friends, will soon be turned upside down after getting in a fender bend with the handsome and much younger, Jake Regan. This one interaction changes the course of their lives as they embark on a passionate love affair. However Jake has secrets of his own and soon he finds himself caught up in a terrorist plot that threatens the island Cleo loves so much and what follows is an unforgettable and passionate tale that shouldn’t be missed!

Chasing Cleopatra is a captivating novel full of powerful themes that are all excellently explored and weaved well together by the phenomenal author Tina Sloan who is an incredibly well-accomplished author and so shouldn’t be missed!
Tina Sloan is an incredible author who has managed to transfix and entertain me with her beautiful literature. I am impressed by the amount of depth Sloan has managed to lace throughout her book; Tina Sloan ensures throughout her book that her readers are entertained and thrilled from beginning to end, and Sloan does this by weaving twists and turns throughout her book which yes, are incredibly entertaining! As well as this, Sloan flawlessly weaves brilliant characterization and development of her characters that will keep the readers turning the pages from beginning to end.
Overall Chasing Cleopatra is an extraordinary piece of fiction that will entertain and thrill readers from beginning to end so I, of course, have to award the book five stars! It would be criminal not to. So please book lovers, have a read of this excellent book and get lost in an engrossing, captivating story… you will not regret it!
