The Silk Road is an incredibly exciting, thrilling, and wonderful middle grade/YA fantasy book that I will struggle to forget for a long time! The Silk Road has astounded me; I enjoyed every single moment of the book because it was by far a perfect read. The wonderful author of the novel Kisten Marion is a true literary talent because the author managed to captivate and enthrall from the very beginning! A part of me was always going to love this book because I love fantasy but even if I did not, I would still love this book because it has action, adventure, and fantastic writing that will keep the reader happy in bliss! That is why I already recommend this book to you lovely readers, however, if you need more convincing then continue to read to learn more!
The Silk Road is a captivating, thrilling, and memorable fantasy tale that will take its readers on a journey like no other! The reader in The Silk Road will meet the protagonists and stars of the book, Lucy and Dee. Lucy is a girl that wants to go on an adventure, and Dee wants to find his missing parents. Soon, they happen upon a hidden road and the lord of stone offers them an opportunity for both of their wishes to come true, and so together they embark on a quest.
This quest leads them into a land full of magical beings, good and bad! And the reader will follow them as they try to evade capture and get home and this book lovers is the short premise of the premise The Silk Road!
The story of The Silk Road is a sensational one because it encompasses everything good about literature. It has an outlandish, brave plot, enthralling characters, and an incredibly well thought out backstory that will keep the reader wanting to read for hours on end!
The Silk Road is a unique and special book with an incredible plot that will keep you guessing and hooked until the very end. The Silk Road reads just like a movie and you can imagine the details in perfect glory. Never before have I read a book that has a ton of action as well as depth. In other words, this book has brains behind it; it is not a senseless, quick, fantasy read and I loved it!
Kirsten Marion, the author does an incredible job of piecing together reality with fantasy and exciting moments and seamlessly integrates themes into one book of intrigue. Marion is a phenomenal writer because the author is dedicated to their work as well as passionate. Marion’s passion for the written word shines off the page and into the reader’s mind and her sometimes lengthy, beautiful descriptions will send the readers mind into visual overdrive, the reader will be able to perfectly imagine every detail the reader comes across and that in my opinion, is a sign of a talented author!
To conclude my thoughts on the brilliant piece of literature that is The Silk Road; I would say if you are looking for a fantasy read that is unlike anything you have read… a read that will keep you entertained for hours on end as well as enthrall you then this incredible book is for you!
