The Minstrel and the Prophet is a brilliant and memorable novel that will take its readers on a fast-paced and captivating journey from page one! The reader in The Minstrel and the Prophet will be taken on a journey like no other as we are introduced to the Federated Kingdoms at a dark time, where livestock are born with abnormalities and crops are withering away with attacks from the Kelmar Empire’s raiders becoming frequent.
It is in this kingdom, in the remote village of Cresswell that we meet Lauren, who dreams of becoming a minstrel – a wandering musician scholar of the Federated Kingdoms. His father however disapproves, wanting him to train a warrior instead, but when a violent outburst occurs between the two, Lauren flees to the minstrel’s college at Songhaven. It is here that he will be tutored by the master of the college, Ambrose, who warns him of an ancient prophecy of the Lawbreaker – a man destined to combat the goddess Mar and bring about the apocalypse. The reader will follow Lauren and Ambrose as they seek to uncover the identity of the Lawbreaker but soon Lauren becomes a target and he wonders whether he has a part to play in this prophecy, and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible The Minstrel and the Prophet!
The story laced throughout The Minstrel and the Prophet is full of action and suspense and these two themes, combined with many others are weaved together flawlessly by the author Larry Z. Daily and the result is an incredibly entertaining story that I will not forget for a long time!
Larry Z. Daily is the author of The Minstrel and the Prophet and I wish so much I had found his book sooner! I wish I had because it has been a long time since I have read a tale this good! So I was thrilled to discover The Minstrel and the Prophet as it is an incredible book, full of twists and turns galore and sensational literature courtesy of Daily.
Larry Z. Daily has managed to write a tale, that makes for the perfect and shocking fantasy action read. Daily’s book is sensational because his tale knows just how to whisk his readers away and take them on an adventure full of ups and downs and many thrilling moments! As well as this the descriptions are beautiful and they will correctly place you in the thick of the story, making you imagine every detail as well as making you imagine you are right there with the characters of the novel! This, in turn, keeps the reader hooked and turning the pages which is what a reader would want in a novel!
Overall The Minstrel and the Prophet is a magnificent, sensational, and entertaining book that will easily entertain its readers and captivate them to read for many hours so I, of course, have to award this incredible book five stars!
