Today is the last day of kindergarten. I wish it were the FIRST. Then I’d meet Mrs. Popinski all over again. A little girl is sad that kindergarten is coming to an end. She wishes it were the first day again, when everything was exciting and new and there was such a fun year ahead. But then she realizes that graduating is exciting, too, and maybe first grade won’t be so bad, after all! Bright mixed-media artwork is a perfect complement to the text.

The Last Day of Kindergarten is a beautiful and captivating book for young children and especially those in kindergarten! The Last Day of Kindergarten tells the story of a little girl who is sad that kindergarten is ending, she wishes she could go back in time to the first day again, and meet her teacher Mrs. Popinski all over again and have a year of fun! However she has to move on to the first grade and although she is sad to say goodbye to kindergarten, she is also excited to be graduating. It makes for an incredible book for young readers that will make the transition to first grade easier and show you that there is much to be excited about and this book lovers is the short premise of the wonderful The Last Day of Kindergarten
The journey the reader will encounter in The Last Day of Kindergarten is wonderful and will have young readers captivated thanks to the illustrations and the captivating journey and of course the incredible writing! It is an adorable story that I believe children will adore! And that is why I hope young readers read this book as it truly is a charming and heart-warming tale!
Nancy Loewen is the incredibly talented author of The Last Day of Kindergarten who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories! It was evident to me from the start that Loewen is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining children with her literature and putting a smile on children’s faces.
The Last Day of Kindergarten is a fast-paced story that flows perfectly from beginning to end. With children’s books, you have to make sure they are always captivated because children’s attention wavers quite quickly and I already know Nancy Loewen doesn’t have an issue with this! As her book is captivating from the get-go and will be able to capture children’s attention with ease. Loewen is a talented author whose children’s book is simply stunning; her words leap off the page effortlessly so that this book is fast and enjoyable.
To conclude my thoughts on this charming children’s book, I would say if you are looking for the perfect children’s book to do with kindergarten, then this stunning book is for you! Your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends children… all children will adore this book! So I implore all of you lovely readers to buy this.
