The Endowment Effect, Leigh Tudor

Birdie Wellborn knows all to well there’s a cost to keeping secrets and a price for going home.

Which is why she swore never to return to the small, southern town of Wayward.

Lucas Santos makes decisions regarding romantic relationships much like he does financial investments. With stone-cold stoicism and devoid of emotional attachments.

Thing is, he’s never been able to apply those same principles to Birdie Wellborn. His onetime best friend and longtime nemesis.

One night will change the trajectory of their lives, tearing them apart, only to bring them back together years later. Unfortunately for Birdie, she’s forced to return to Wayward, where the locals have short tempers, protective instincts, and very long memories. And where Lucas Santos has a score to settle.
