MacLeod laced throughout the book impressed me continuously because just when I thought she could not have any more knowledge, the author surprised me and expanded on her wealth of knowledge even more! The book is not just for those that want to feel better with their diet, but it is also great for those that want a deeper understanding of food substitutions. The reason I mention this is because it shows us that the author is talented and has a vast amount of knowledge and is dedicated to helping readers from all backgrounds and lifestyles and that to me is really special.

What I love about the author’s literature is that she is never once preachy; instead, she wonderfully shares her knowledge with her readers so that readers can make informed decisions about ingredients, their diet, and food substitutions.

Jean B. MacLeod is not only a phenomenal writer for her wealth of knowledge, but she also is for her exceptional literature that flows beautifully throughout. Sadly many health and wellbeing books are not written well because although the author in question has the knowledge, they do not know how to inform and captivate the reader, but MacLeod sure does!
