I admit that I was hooked on this book before I even started reading it; the book’s description managed to intrigue me straight away, and ever since reading it, I knew I had to get lost in the story of Tamari Island. Tamari Island is an incredible book that charmed, moved, and excited me with its multiple themes and plot avenues, and already I would implore you, lovely readers, to have a read of this book! Tamari Island is an incredible tale that will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the novel, Emmie Prescott, who is the intelligent and attractive granddaughter of a U.S. senator. However, Emmie’s life has recently been turned upside down after a scandal dashes her career dreams, and so she seeks a fresh start on the remote Tamari Island, where she hopes to start over.
Upon arrival, however, she crosses paths with Jack Manderly, the journalist whose reporting contributed to her downfall, and this isn’t the only challenge she is facing. Emmie finds herself facing unexpected challenges at her new job in a silk plant, while also trying to resist her growing feelings for Jack.
Despite their attempts to keep their distance, a mutual attraction develops, especially as mysterious events unfold on the island. As Tamari Island is a captivating, unique story full of powerful themes that are all excellently explored and woven well together by the phenomenal author Joy Allyson, who is incredibly accomplished.
Tamari Island is full of twists and turns galore; the book and the story that unravels are thrilling and will keep your hearts racing, and there are a few moments that will definitely evoke certain feelings in its readers. I love how the author kept me on edge constantly and made me feel a host of different emotions; Allyson is an exceptional writer because she knows just how to captivate her readers and keep them engrossed from beginning to end!
Joy Allyson is an incredible author who has managed to transfix and entertain me with her beautiful literature. I am impressed by the amount of depth Allyson has managed to lace throughout her book; Allyson ensures throughout her book that her readers are entertained and moved from beginning to end. As well as this, Allyson flawlessly weaves brilliant characterisation and development of her characters that will keep the readers turning the pages from beginning to end.
Overall, Tamari Island is an extraordinary piece of fiction that will entertain and captivate readers from beginning to end, so I, of course, have to award the book five stars! It would be criminal not to. So please book lovers, have a read of this excellent book and get lost in an engrossing, captivating story… you will not regret it!
