I am so pleased that I have read Taking Boston as it is a read that has everything the reader would want and more, such as twists and turns, gripping literature, and a fast-paced story that can be read quickly. Taking Boston is a captivating and memorable novel that weaves many different themes and is a novel that will take its readers on a shocking but brilliant journey! The reader in Taking Boston will be introduced to the protagonist of the novel, Jake Wilson, a single pastor in his thirties whose life is turned upside down when he becomes a father overnight when his nine-year-old goddaughter’s parents are killed. Jake will quickly have to learn how to be a father to Boston and soon will have to learn to open his heart when Boston and himself bond with Jessica, a divorcee from his church. Feelings that were once buried are now coming to the surface but so are Jessica’s secrets… and when her secrets come back to haunt her Jake will have to find a way to help the two women he cares about in his life and it makes for a beautiful and touching read that shouldn’t be missed, and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Taking Boston!

This book has all of this and so much more and will leave you breathless on many occasions. Taking Boston is a phenomenal book with an incredible author called J. Steven Butler who does a fantastic job of making his reader invest in his story from the start as well as build his story quickly, and I have to say I am very impressed with this as this is hard to accomplish! However, Butler pulled it off as he is a genuinely brilliant author whose book stands out amongst its genre.

J. Steven Butler is the author of Taking Boston and is an imaginative and passionate writer. In his book, Butler not only tells us a fantastically moving story but also makes us think intricately and it makes for a captivating read! I found this fascinating as it not only entertained me but also provoked my thoughts! So thank you, Butler, for writing an intriguing novel that makes you think and entertains you all at once!
