As I began to read Taken in the Night, I immediately knew that this book was going to be as great as the previous two and that Tara Fox Hall would once again blow me away, and that she did! It makes for an incredible read that once again captivated me with its heart-pounding moments and phenomenal literature courtesy of the excellent author and so of course I have to recommend this series to you! Especially if you are looking for action-packed romances with a twist but if you need more convincing then continue to read more.
Taken in the Night is book three in the Promise Me series and will reunite us with the star of the series, Sarella ‘Sar’ McGarran who after Theo’s disappearance is left with her world shaken. The tale of Taken in the Night is a stellar one that had me intrigued from the start; guessing where the story could go with the characters I have grown to love and become invested in. As well as this, I have loved the previous two books and I already knew the themes and the genre of the book would be beautifully written and that is certainly what happened with Taken in the Night again! From the start the reader is immediately thrust into the thick of the story, the reader will feel as if their breath has been knocked out of them by how fast the reader is pushed into the thick of the plot and it was brilliant!
Tara Fox Hall is an incredibly talented author, this is clear to me from all the other books of hers I have read before, and is a woman who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories! It is evident to the reader that Hall is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining readers with her literature and putting a smile on readers’ faces. I loved this about the author but what I loved the most about Hall’s writing is her remarkable descriptions because they genuinely amazed me.
Not only is Tara Fox Hall an outstanding writer for her ability to thrust her readers into the thick of the story, but she also is because she was able to describe all of the events that unravel perfectly. Every event and moment and even place is flawlessly described with a wealth of detail which in turn keeps the reader turning the pages.
Overall Taken in the Night is a gripping novel that is guaranteed to keep readers entertained for hours on end so I, of course, have to award the story five stars! Be sure to have a read of the preview below book lovers; you will not regret it! And be sure to check out Tara Fox Hall’s other books!
