Small Feet is a book I was keen to read ever since discovering it because I always love fairytale reimaginings so when I discovered Small Feet I was excited to get lost in this Cinderella retelling! Now that I have finished Small Feet, I can happily write that this book did not disappoint, as Small Feet is an exceptionally well-written and well-developed story and that is why I already have to recommend you lovely readers have a read! Small Feet is a sensational short story that will introduce the reader to the world of Cinderella but this time there is a twist. The twist being what if Cinderella’s slipper fits somebody else? The reader will follow Jade as she is that girl and what follows is a fascinating, and shocking retelling that provokes your thoughts and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Small Feet!
Small Feet is a captivating novella thanks to the enthralling and action-packed moments as well as the unpredictable nature of the book that will have the readers turning the pages with haste from beginning to end. I love books that involve a journey because usually in these stories the character develops and grows as they overcome events which in turn adds to the development of the character and explores life lessons throughout the book and that is most certainly the case with Small Feet!
Aelth Faye is an incredibly talented and excellent author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories. It was evident to me from the start that Faye is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining readers with her literature and putting a smile on readers’ faces. I loved this about the author, but what I loved the most about Faye’s writing is her remarkable descriptions because they genuinely amazed me. Despite Small Feet being a retelling of Cinderella, Aelth Faye has made it her own, and it feels like an original read and I really adore this about Small Feet!
To conclude my thoughts on the wonderful Small Feet, Small Feet is a marvelous, stellar, and supreme book that will entertain, delight as well as charm readers! And so I, of course, have to award this book five stars! Be sure to have a read of the preview below book lovers, you won’t regret it!
