Shadow Cast is a brilliant, fascinating, and thrilling novel that will take its readers on an incredible journey that is fast-paced from the start. The reader in Shadow Cast will be introduced Matt. Matt wants to be a Golden Guardian, just like his father. Matt is skilled, with years of experience, and has powerful magic but despite this, he hasn’t been made one still. Matt’s sister Izzy too wants to be Guardian but she is not given a chance either. However, soon the tides change and they have a chance to prove themselves but they get caught up in something far more dangerous than they first thought and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Shadow Cast!
The story of Shadow Cast captivated me from the first page thanks to the book’s sharp literature and strong opening. The reader thanks to the exceptional author R.A. Meenan will be thrust into the action early on thanks to Meenan’s fast-paced narrative. The fast-paced narrative combined with the extraordinary story had me in a frenzy and turning the pages with haste, and when a reader does this, then they know that the book is good and worthy of a recommendation! R.A. Meenan is not only a phenomenal writer for her flawless ability to capture her reader’s attention, but she is also a great writer for her descriptive powers and characterization of characters which will hook her readers!
R.A. Meenan is a phenomenal writer who knows how to grasp her reader’s attention from the first page. Meenan instead of writing long, drawn-out builds up which are commonly found in most novels, decides to ditch this approach and thrust her reader into the heart of the story straight away so that the reader is instantly captivated and immersed and it made for a thrilling read!
To conclude my thoughts on this incredible book, Shadow Cast is a sensational, thrilling as well as chilling story that will provoke your thoughts as well as entertain you and so I have no choice but to award this stellar read five stars!
