Second Chance is quite simply one of the most exciting paranormal sequels I have had the pleasure of reading! Second Chance has astounded me; I enjoyed every single moment of the book because it was by far a perfect and incredibly enjoyable read. The wonderful author of the novel, Kyona Jiles, is a true literary talent because she managed to captivate and enthrall me from the very beginning all over again with her dramatic twists and turns and phenomenal literature that should not be missed!

Second Chance is the sensational follow-up novel to First Death and wow, what a phenomenal sequel! The reader in Second Chance will be thrust into the story once again as we are reunited with the star of the book, Kinsley Preston who after being thrust into the supernatural world as a Vampire Shadower, must embark on a personal and dangerous mission. The mission includes Kinsley rescuing her aunt from evil vampires before it is too late and learning to harness and use her newfound powers at the same time.

The reader will follow Kinsley as she embarks on this important mission while she also forms a deeper connection with Beckford Alexander in which she must navigate this complex situation and the result is an incredible tale that will keep you hooked and leave you wanting more, and this book lovers is the short premise of the book two Second Chance!

The story of Second Chance is a sensational one because it encompasses everything good about literature. It has an outlandish, brave plot, enthralling characters, and an incredibly well-thought-out backstory that will keep the reader wanting to read for hours on end! And this is all thanks to the wonderful author Kyona Jiles.

Kyona Jiles is a talented author; there is no question about this. Jiles’s writing keeps the reader on the edge of their seat; her suspense-filled book leaves you with a constant feeling of trepidation and a continuous sense of “what is going to happen next?!”. I was enthralled because this is how paranormal books should be! Kyona Jiles is not only a brilliant writer for her ability to captivate the reader’s attention straight away, but she is also an excellent author for her ability to lace exceptional twists and turns throughout her story that genuinely had me shocked at points!

The combination of Jiles’s shocking twists and her explanatory powers will immerse the reader in the story and make them visualize every detail, no matter how small. This writing approach is one of my favorites because it makes the reader feel included in the story and makes the reader feel as if they are in the same situation as the protagonists of the novel.

To conclude my thoughts on the brilliant piece of literature that is Second Chance; I would say if you are looking for a paranormal adventure that is unlike anything you have read before… a read that will keep you entertained for hours on end as well as enthrall you, then this incredible book is for you! Second Chance gets five stars from me!
