Running From Dust, Jess Whitby

Jude Craig is a level-headed teacher in a Yorkshire secondary school. Within a matter of days her professional and personal life is shattered by a series of strange events in her house. What starts with the sound of papers fluttering to the floor quickly escalates to her discovering that someone has been in the house whilst she is sleeping. When Jude is driven out of her job and home she is forced to discover whether she is being haunted, stalked by a pupil, or the terrifying possibility that she is losing her mind.

Running From Dust is quite simply one of the most exciting, incredible, mystery, and suspense books I have ever read. Running From Dust has astounded me; I enjoyed every single moment of the book because it was by far a perfect read. The wonderful author of the novel, Jess Whitby, is a true literary talent because she managed to captivate and enthrall from the very beginning. To be honest, a part of me was always going to love this book because I love suspenseful novels, but even if I did not, I would still love this book because it has thrilling and compelling moments and fantastic writing that will keep the reader happy in bliss!

Running From Dust is a thrilling novel that will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the book, Jude Craig. Jude is a secondary school teacher living in Yorkshire, England, and her days are usually mundane. Well, that is until she notices strange happenings occurring in her house, making her eventually believe that somebody has been in her home while she slept. This forces Jude on a path to discover whether her home is haunted, she is crazy, or whether somebody has been in her home and that she is actually in danger. Read the incredible Running From Dust to find out book lovers!

The story of Running From Dust is a sensational one because it encompasses everything good about literature. It has an outlandish, brave plot, enthralling characters, and an incredibly well thought out story that will keep the reader wanting to read for hours on end. Running From Dust is a unique and extraordinary book; it is special for the obvious reasons… that it encompasses everything great about the written word, but it is unique because of the plot. The plot of this novel is something I have never read of or heard of before, it reads like a movie, and you are able to imagine the details in perfect glory.

Jess Whitby, the author does an incredible job of piecing together suspense with thrilling themes and seamlessly integrates themes into one book of intrigue. Whitby is a phenomenal writer because she is dedicated to her work as well as passionate. Whitby’s passion for the written word shines off the page and into the reader’s mind; her sometimes lengthy, beautiful descriptions will send the readers mind into visual overdrive, the reader will be able to perfectly imagine every detail the reader comes across and that in my opinion, is the sign of a talented author.
