Rainbow of Emotions is a poetry book I was excited to discover and a book I was eager to get lost in! As a poetry lover, I always love to find new poetry books however sadly many can not be that great. However, as soon as I started to read Rainbow of Emotions, I knew this was an exception as this book was brilliant, unique, and memorable from the beginning to the very end. That is why I am so happy to have read Rainbow of Emotions and why I am so excited to be sharing it with you today! As it is a poetry book that should not be missed. Rainbow of Emotions is a collection of poems that are some of the most moving poems I have ever read! Rainbow of Emotions is a unique book and its poems will make you feel a host of different emotions. Rainbow of Emotions is a compelling collection of poems written by Djehane Hassouna that really stand out and make an impact and so I highly recommend this book to all those that love poetry or even those that don’t usually! As Rainbow of Emotions is a unique blend of poems that I think anyone can fall in love with.
The poems laced throughout Rainbow of Emotions are so brilliant and deeply personal too that I have not been able to stop thinking about them. They explore Djehane’s life and she shares her life through her poetry and writes poetry about the world, events, emotions and so much more and it was captivating. As soon as I would finish one poem I would end up re-reading it because I wanted to immerse myself in it again and understand the true meaning or just re-read it for the fun of it! I love immersing myself in a poem and reading it from different perspectives and the wonderful author Djehane Hassouna challenges her readers to do just this! And it makes for a fun and unpredictable read.
Djehane Hassouna is a newly discovered poet of mine, but I wish I had discovered her work sooner because never before have I been so transfixed by poems. I have read a lot of poems in my time, especially since a young age but never have I ever been so provoked in different ways by the ones in Rainbow of Emotions, as I felt they really did capture a wide range of emotions which is hard for a poet to accomplish. However, Djehane Hassouna accomplishes this with her mesmerizing prose and unique poems.
Overall Rainbow of Emotions is a sensational, unique, and beautiful poetry book that should not be missed, I, of course, have to award this stellar book five stars! So please, have a read of Rainbow of Emotions and get lost in the captivating and brilliant words of Djehane Hassouna and be compelled to read from the very beginning to the very end… you will not regret it!
