RED HEADED BOOK LOVER

Quest For The Scepter, Mark E. Fisher

A STOLEN SCEPTER, A WORLD IN PERIL

When the arch druid Faolukan stole the Scepter of Elyon, he plunged the medieval Celtic world called Erde into a Dark Age. But the prince who was prophesied to steal it back has been killed, and now nothing can stop the coming darkness.

ONLY ONE CAN BRING IT BACK

Orphaned Tristan slaves at his uncle’s forge and longs to erase the dishonor his wastrel father and harlot mother bequeathed him. When a squire discovers that Tristan is the prince’s exact double, the fate of Erde weighs heavily upon him. Reluctantly, Tristan agrees to masquerade as the savior prince, lead a chosen Company of nobles, and seek the Scepter across the sea.

Before riding from his forest village, Tristan tells his life-long friend Caitir she must stay behind. But this intrepid lass has other ideas. She stows aboard the departing ship.

AHEAD — A DANGEROUS TREK

Cryptic texts hint that the Scepter lies hidden beyond the Fell Bogs, haunt of mesmerizing marsh spirits. It’s even more distant than the oppressive dark forest of the Waldreich, reign of misshapen wolves and the treacherous, treetop-dwelling Naz. Into such dangers, Tristan’s Company must follow a trail of ancient clues.

ONE LAD AGAINST A POWERFUL SORCERER

In service to the Deamhan Lord, Faolukan pledges to stop the group with all the magic, sorcery, and monsters at his command, including Tristan’s worst fear—a dark, subterranean cavern where stalks the creature of shadows, the barghest whose name is Thrag.

But how can a mere blacksmith’s nephew and a cooper’s daughter ever hope to defeat the most powerful sorcerer the world has ever known? How can anyone stop the coming darkness?

Quest For The Scepter is a sensational book written by the exceptional and talented author Mark E. Fisher and wow what a stellar book it is! Quest For The Scepter is a book I was keen to read because I always love to find entertaining, heart-warming and inspiring adventure/fantasy stories to read so I was excited to read Quest For The Scepter upon reading the description! Quest For The Scepter is one of the most well written and well-developed stories I have ever come across, and I genuinely mean this as Quest For The Scepter is excellent and should not be missed!

Quest For The Scepter is a sensational novel that will take its readers on a captivating journey full of ups and downs and action galore! The reader will be taken on a quest to find the Scepter of Elyon which at the start of the novel, is stolen by Faolukan, an arch druid which in turn turned the world featured in the story into darkness.

It was prophesied that only a prince could find the sceptor and stop the darkness, but when he is killed, all hope seems lost until we meet the unique Tristan. Tristan is an orphan working hard day in day out and wants to erase his past, so when he finds out he is the prince’s exact double, it seems like a win-win situation. Tristan gets to restore honor to his family all while stopping the darkness that plagues his world. The journey, however, will not be easy, and Tristan will embark on a dangerous adventure to find the sceptor before it is too late and this book lovers is the premise of the incredible Quest For The Scepter!

The story of Quest For The Scepter is a thrilling one thanks to the enthralling and action-packed moments as well as the unpredictable nature of the book that will have the readers turning the pages with haste from beginning to end. I love books that involve a journey because usually in these stories the character develops and grows as they overcome events and battles which in turn adds to the development of the character and explores life lessons throughout the book and that is most certainly the case with Quest For The Scepter. What I loved most about Quest For The Scepter is that the reader is taken on an adventure that is continuously evolving and changing and that in turn kept my attention.

Mark E. Fisher is an incredibly talented author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories. It was evident to me from the start that Fisher is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining readers with his literature and putting a smile on readers’ faces. I loved this about the author, but what I loved the most about Fisher’s writing is his remarkable descriptions because they genuinely amazed me. Fantasy novels, in general, are difficult to write because you have to transport the reader quickly and effortlessly, but sadly this is rarely accomplished in a fantasy story but not Quest For The Scepter. Quest For The Scepter is the way it is because Fisher knows what he is doing! Fisher knows how to whisk his readers away to a fantasy land and entice them with magnificent descriptions and keep readers entertained from start to finish!

Overall Quest For The Scepter is a marvelous, stellar and supreme fantasy book that will entertain, delight as well as charm young readers and even adults! And so I, of course, have to award this book five stars!
