Pippin No Drippin’ encourages the use of children’s imaginations and that with a little bit of ingenuity, anyone can create something fun to do.
Pippin the cat can’t go outside because it’s raining and it’s making him blue. His mama suggests he use his imagination to find something to do. Spying an ad featuring a loud and colorful marching band, he sets forth to create a “one cat band” with items he finds around the house. A fun, colorful item from the first book Pippin No Lickin’ even makes an appearance! Pippin No Drippin’ culminates in an impromptu performance for Pippin’s parents and the realization that even a rainy day can be fun when you put your mind to it!
Pippin No Drippin’ is another sensational children’s book courtesy of the author Layne Ihde who once again captivates his readers with his wonderful story! Pippin No Drippin’ is the second book by Layne Ihde with the first being Pippin No Lickin’. I adored Pippin No Lickin’ and so I was excited to read its next book which is, of course, Pippin No Drippin’! Pippin No Drippin’ is delightful and already I would recommend that you lovely readers get lost in its story as well as the story of the first book, Pippin No Lickin’ as both make for the most adorable and inspiring reads a child could get lost in!
Pippin No Drippin’ is a beautiful, captivating, and moving story that will introduce its readers to Pippin the cat once again and he has a dilemma! It is raining outside and his mama says he can’t go outside which is, in turn, making him feel sad. However, his mama tells him to use his imagination indoors, and this forces Pippin to go on an adventure indoors and what follows is a beautiful story! That shows that being indoors doesn’t have to mean no fun and this book lovers is the premise of Pippin No Drippin’!
Layne Ihde is an incredibly talented author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging children’s stories! It was evident to me from the start that once again, Layne Ihde is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining readers with his literature and putting a smile on young readers’ faces!
I loved this about the author, but what I loved the most about Layne Ihde’s writing is his remarkable knack for placing the reader in the story and making them feel as if they are on a little adventure with Pippin the cat! This means that any young reader will find themselves easily invested in the story and thus enjoy it!
To conclude my thoughts on the wonderful Pippin No Drippin’, I would say this book is marvelous, stellar, and an entertaining book that will entertain, delight as well as charm young readers from start to finish!
