RED HEADED BOOK LOVER

Nahia, Patricia Bossano

Fantasy, Literature & Fiction, Myth's & Legends, Supernatural & Paranormal, Teen & Young Adult

A rebellious faery princess struggles with satisfying her own desires over what’s best for her loved ones. Following her heart in pursuit of the human she loves, Nahia hides her faery identity in order to enter the human dimension.
After giving birth to a daughter, Nahia’s secret is revealed, as is the realization that she has forever altered the genetic human footprint. Faced with death, Nahia returns to the faerie realm only to have its dormant weight thrust upon her after the demise of its magical keeper.
To save her home and renew ties with both her human and faerie family, Nahia must find a way to reawaken the realm, become the new Faery Queen, and provide a royal descendant for the new Keeper of the Forest.

Nahia is book three in the Faerie Legacy series courtesy of Patricia Bossano, and wow, this series continues to get better and better book lovers! I admit, with most series I lose interest halfway through, I lose interest because the story becomes repetitive and lackluster, but I can happily write that I have not experienced this yet with the Faerie Legacy series! From book one to book three, I have been entertained by the well thought out fantasy and the adventure that unfolds! When I finished book two in the series called Cradle Gift and read the description of Nahia, it is safe for me to write that I was excited! Nahia is the type of fiction for me that I did not want to rush, it is the type of book I believe that is best read by immersing yourself in the story and taking your time, picking up on every little detail. It is a spectacular read, and so I hope all of you lovely readers get a chance to read it!

Nahia is book three in the Faery Legacy series so of course, I have to be careful to spoil the plot of the book because it would then ruin the other two books and we don’t want that book lovers! Nahia will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the novel, Nahia, a rebellious fairy princess who has fallen in love with a human. Nahia entered the human dimension and kept her true nature hidden, but when she gives birth to a daughter, her secret is revealed, and now she has forever ‘altered the human genetic footprint.’ The reader will follow Nahia as she tries to restore peace between her human and faerie family all while she prepares to become the new faery queen and this book lovers is the premise of the sensational Nahia!

The story of Nahia thrilled me from the start because the talented and well-accomplished author Patricia Bossano quickly reunited readers with a world we have become accustomed to over the previous books. Once again Bossano throws her reader into the thick of the story and I admit that I was impressed with the quick build up of the story! Sometimes with a fantasy read there can be a long build up but not with Bossano’s novels, oh no, she ensures that readers do not have to wait for action and I love this approach in literature!

Patricia Bossano expresses many writing talents throughout the book, some of them being phenomenal narration and the other being an incredible, well thought out story but personally, I believe her best skill is that of descriptions and developments. The descriptions laced throughout the book are stunning and will charm and amaze readers of any age. The growth of the world also is immense, so much so that the reader will be able to picture every perfect detail and that is why Bossano is fast becoming a favorite author of mine thanks to her excellent plot development and unique story.

Overall Nahia is another superb, unforgettable and original novel in the Faerie Legacy series that will compel and captivate readers from the start thanks to the incredible plot development, enigmatic characters, and superb descriptions so I, of course, have to award the book five stars! So please, do have a read of Nahia, you will not regret it!

Dear Aimee; thank you so much for another wonderful review of my work! More than a fantasy novel, I consider “Nahia” a philosophical fiction because despite the fantasy dimension in which she lives, common to Faery Sight and Cradle Gift, this novel features the element of self-evaluation equally combined with the action. I think Nahia might appeal to an adult audience more than YA readers, mostly because of all the maturing she does as her story unfolds. Thank you again so much for your generous remarks—they let me know you embraced Nahia’s plight and that you appreciated her character growth.… Read more »
