Mortal Desire is a sensational novel that will take its readers on an action-packed journey from start to finish. Mortal Desire is an incredible book that will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the novel, Sadie, a witch who is grappling with dormant powers and the intense attraction she feels to a mysterious human called Ryder. The reader will follow Sadie on her journey which begins as an exploration of forbidden love that quickly evolves into a battle against impending evil, nightmarish creatures, and a traitor lurking in the shadows. With Ryder’s intense presence, Sadie must navigate trust, her magical awakening, and fight to shield those she loves from harm. And this, book lovers, is the short premise of the incredible Mortal Desire!
Mortal Desire is a stellar story that had me intrigued from the very start. I love any story with a romance and magical theme, so I knew from the beginning that Mortal Desire would deliver thanks to these themes, and wow did it! Mortal Desire captured my attention immediately thanks to the fast-paced story, enigmatic characters, and thrilling plot and as I read Mortal Desire, I was honestly in awe; it was like a present was being unwrapped before my eyes, and the more the pages turned, the more excited I got for the finale!
Chloe Adler is a newly discovered author of mine, and I have to confess, book lovers, that I am kicking myself for not having found Adler’s book sooner! I am frustrated that I have not before because it has been a long time since a paranormal romance book has captivated me this much! To write a good novel the reader needs to be fully immersed in the story and feel as if they are experiencing the same events as the protagonist, and Adler manages to accomplish this with her writing in Mortal Desire, so Adler is most certainly worthy of an abundance of praise!
Not only is Chloe Adler an outstanding writer for her ability to thrust her readers into the thick of the story, but she also is because she was able to describe all of the events that unravel perfectly! Every event and moment and even place is flawlessly described with a wealth of detail which in turn keeps the reader turning the pages!
To conclude my thoughts on this wonderful novel, Mortal Desire is a gripping novel that is guaranteed to keep readers entertained for hours on end so I, of course, have to award the story five stars! Be sure to have a read of the book below book lovers; you will not regret it!
