A short while ago I read and reviewed a marvelous book called Moira Ashe: Enemy Within which is written by the equally remarkable author, Brendon Bertram. The story is a bewitching one full of breathtaking events and beings that will have the readers mind full of wonder. The story was so radiant that upon finishing it, I immediately wanted to read book two Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits and wow what a sequel book lovers!

Before I let you lovely readers know more about Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits, I think it is only right that I share more about the first book Moira Ashe: Enemy Within! So I have attached a snippet of my review that will introduce you to this excellent series.

 “Enemy Within is a multi-layered novel with a dramatic and engrossing plot that will introduce the reader to a time where the blood moon is rising above Abalon and werewolves, are being spotted more and more. The king of Abalon is worried, and so he sends Lincoln Clarke to find out what is happening as well as find the werewolves before more devastation is caused. The reader will follow the male protagonist of the novel, Lincoln, as he chases leads to get to the bottom of the issue and this leads him to the female protagonist, Moira. Moira took some convincing to help and a bag of gold, but she soon helps Lincoln and tells him what she knows, and she follows Lincoln on his hunt. However, the journey becomes increasingly dangerous, and Moira intel and skill is not as great as Lincoln first thought, and he doubts if she can help and this book lovers is the premise of the sensational Enemy Within!”

Now, how incredible does Moira Ashe: Enemy Within sound?! Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits is a continuation of the story in Moira Ashe: Enemy Within and will reintroduce the reader to the protagonist of the novel, Moira. In book two Moira has been exposed and is desperately trying to flee the city, but she is struggling thanks to being denied by every ship in the port. However, rescue comes from the mysterious Caspian who tells her he will help her out of the city. Although there is a catch, the catch is that she must slay the ‘the legendary Terror of Trident Bay.’ The reader will follow her on this quest all while she gets caught in the middle of an uprising and blossoming love and this book lovers is the premise of the sensational Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits!

The story laced throughout Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits is pure fantasy and will send fantasy fans wild because the fantasy laced throughout the book is mesmerizing. The journey the reader encounters in Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits are just as brilliant, If not more brilliant than the journey in book one Moira Ashe: Enemy Within and I will explain why. I loved the story in Enemy Within, so much so that I awarded it five stars! But Enemy Within is the first book in the series so of course, it features heavily on plot and world development which I must add was dazzling! My point is that in Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits the world is already established by the incredible author Brendon Bertram, so now Bertram has free reign, he can expand on the book even more and go crazy with plot ideas, characters and beings and that is why I feel that I loved Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits just that bit more because the world is established and the journey thrilling!

Brendon Bertram is seriously an insanely good fantasy writer because he knows what to write to entertain and keep his readers thrilled until the very end. Bertram has many strong writing abilities, but his core talent has to be that of world development. The development of the story in Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits is breathtaking because the world the reader encounters in the first book is expanded on even more. I admit I was shocked by this because I did not believe it could be because the world was so flawlessly and immaculately developed in book one but Bertram surprised me and expanded on the story even more, and that deserves a round of applause.

As Moira Ashe: Kindred Spirits is a fascinating, mesmerizing and riveting story that should not be missed, I, of course, have to award the stellar read a magical five stars! Be sure to have a read of the preview below book lovers, you won’t regret it!
