Shoshi is a talented author; the reader won’t be able to think anything but this as they begin to read her book as her descriptive prose combined with the extensive but concise details of the key topics laced throughout the book, will entertain and inform readers for many hours.
Usually, with nonfiction stories about pressing issues, I find that the author holds back; the author typically holds back on the more delicate details. However, Shoshi Herscu is an author who is brazen with her work, and so she holds back on nothing regarding the truth and the going on’s which have and are occurring. The outcome of this is an accurate portrayal of the world we live in today, and it made for an enlightening read no reader should miss out on.
The profoundness in Mass Awakening is sensational, and many readers will feel a host of different emotions while reading this book. Shoshi Herscu effortlessly inspires thoughts and feelings in her readers as well as compel them to read from beginning to end. I found myself reading Mass Awakening at an alarming rate because it was captivating as well as engrossing; Shoshi’s incredible literature will have you turning the pages frantically, and I adored how she was able to do this.
Shoshi Herscu is a woman I admire because she has managed to bring a significant, poignant event to the masses so that readers can be informed of such events and happenings. It is clear to the reader early on that Shoshi has researched the topics to an incredible standard and has made sure that all her facts are correct, precise, and explained in easy to read ways. As well as including a host of facts in her book, she also captures the sharp details which most authors would overlook, this combined with her actual point of views make Mass Awakening a realistic and formidable book that should not be missed.
Overall Mass Awakening is an insightful, informative, captivating book and I would say if you are a reader who is interested in the topics explored in Mass Awakening, then this book is for you, and so Mass Awakening gets five stars from me!
