When I read the description of Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde I was hooked, after all, I had loved previous works by the author Mark Anthony Tierno so I was excited to read Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde and get lost in its story! As I started to read this book I found myself falling in love quickly thanks to the sharp literature, incredible story, and characters I was happy to be reunited with and much more! It is truly a phenomenal book and should not be missed book lovers!
Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde is a thrilling, sensational, and memorable novel that will take its readers on a journey like no other! As Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde is a follow up to Maldene, I do not want to spoil the story! So here is a snippet from my review of the first book in this series!

Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde for me was thrilling, captivating, and addictive right from the start, and I felt this from beginning to end. Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde was captivating to me from the start thanks to the unique premise of the story and the bewitching literature courtesy of the author Mark Anthony Tierno who hooked me with the story. It is rare to find a fantasy novel that is refreshing, and it is even more challenging to discover a fantasy story that does not rely on gimmicks and ridiculous action sequences! Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde does have action-packed moments; however, they are tasteful and in no way gimmicky, which is always fantastic in a book!
Mark Anthony Tierno is a phenomenal writer who knows how to grasp his reader’s attention from the first page. Tierno instead of writing long, drawn-out builds up which are commonly found in fantasy novels, decides to ditch this approach and thrust his reader into the heart of the story straight away so that the reader is instantly captivated and immersed.
I personally love this approach, what is the point of having a long build-up with little excitement? This is only necessary if the author in question can’t develop the characters in the story quickly, but with Tierno, the reader will not encounter this issue because Tierno instantly develops his characters and makes the reader invest in not only them but also their journey.
Overall Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde is a thrilling, compelling and thought-provoking novel that will easily entertain readers for many days and nights and so, I, of course, have to award this stellar gem of a book five stars! If you are a reader who loves fantasy or even science fiction then I implore you to read Maldene II: Mysteries Of Olde; it is a fast-paced, action-adventure that should not be missed so have a read of the preview below and get reading!
