Kind Katie is a wonderful book all about being kind and the benefits of doing so and it is an incredible book even I wish I had read when I was younger! Kind Katie is a poignant, entertaining, and sensational children’s book courtesy of the exceptional author Lauren Cardoso that is guaranteed to captivate children from start to finish. Kind Katie is an adorable book full of a host of moving themes and will take the reader on a journey of kindness and overcoming nervousness. In Kind Katie, the reader will meet the protagonist of the book, Katie. The reader will meet Katie as she starts her first day at a new school and she is nervous, after all, she doesn’t know anyone and when she gets there she realizes she has forgotten her backpack! This only makes Katie worry more but then she remembers her mother’s words about being kind and when Katie follows her advice, her day gets much better and she starts making friends! And this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Kind Katie!

Kind Katie is an adorable, unique, and entertaining children’s book that I believe any young reader will fall in love with. As a mother, I am always on the lookout for the next best children’s book for my children, and for fellow parents, and I can truly write that Kind Katie is sensational and the perfect read for children. It is full of a host of essential messages, stunning illustrations, and of course, superb literature from the author Lauren Cardoso and that is why this book should not be missed!

Lauren Cardoso is an incredible author who has written an equally incredible story. In Kind Katie, she has expertly weaved important themes throughout her story that will subtly help children with their own feelings of worry, and that, to me, is beautiful as well as important. I adored the messages of overcoming worry and being kind laced throughout her book as it is incredibly important for children to learn this.

What I adored about Cardoso is how she subtly laced these themes throughout her book so that first and foremost, the children that read this book are entertained, but they are also learning important life lessons without knowing, and that to me is a sign of a genius and talented author! As well as this, in Kind Katie, the writing flows beautifully from beginning to end so that no young reader will be lost or confused and instead will read in pure joy from start to finish.

Overall, Kind Katie is a moving, compelling, and entertaining children’s book that every child should have the pleasure of reading. That is why I, of course, have to award the incredible Kind Katie, five stars! It has everything a reader would want in a story; it has fantastic writing, beautiful illustrations, and heartwarming messages laced throughout.
