When Eliza Owens gets a phone call in the middle of the night from a girl she’s never met, she doesn’t know what to think. The girl introduces herself as Paige, and says she used to date Erik Stern, Eliza’s fiancé. What’s more, she has something important to discuss.

Haze is quite simply one of the most exciting, incredible, supernatural books I have ever read. Haze has astounded me; I enjoyed every single moment of the book because it was by far a perfect read. The wonderful author of the novel, Rebecca Crunden, is a true literary talent because she managed to captivate and enthrall from the very beginning. To be honest, a part of me was always going to love this book because I love supernatural novels, but even if I did not, I would still love this book because it has action and adventure and fantastic writing that will keep the reader happy in bliss!
Haze is a thrilling novel that will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the book, Eliza Owens who is a young woman, happily engaged and looking forward to what the future holds. However, this all changes when in the middle of the night, she receives a mysterious phone call from a girl named Paige, a woman who says she is Eliza’s ex-girlfriend and she has some shocking truths she wants to reveal. However, it is not so straight forward as Paige has been dead for years, but soon Eliza’s older sister says she met her only a few weeks ago. What follows is a thrilling, captivating novel that reveals many shocking truths and this book lovers is the premise of the incredible Haze!
The story of Haze is a sensational one because it encompasses everything good about literature. It has an outlandish, brave plot, enthralling characters and an incredibly well thought out story that will keep the reader wanting to read for hours on end. Haze is a unique and extraordinary book; it is special for the obvious reasons… that it encompasses everything great about the written word, but it is unique because of the plot. The plot of this novel is something I have never read of or heard of before, it reads like a movie, and you are able to imagine the details in perfect glory.
Rebecca Crunden, the author does an incredible job of piecing together supernatural with poignancy and seamlessly integrates themes into one book of intrigue. Rebecca Crunden is a phenomenal writer because she is dedicated to her work as well as passionate. Crunden’s passion for the written word shines off the page and into the reader’s mind; her sometimes lengthy, beautiful descriptions will send the readers mind into visual overdrive, the reader will be able to perfectly imagine every detail the reader comes across and that in my opinion, is the sign of a talented author.
To conclude my thoughts on the brilliant piece of literature that is Haze; I would say if you are looking for a supernatural read that is unlike anything you have read… a read that will keep you entertained for hours on end as well as enthrall you then this exciting book is for you! Haze, of course, gets five stars from me so be sure to have a read of the preview below book lovers, you won’t regret it!
