Every Home Needs an Elephant is a captivating, inspiring, and memorable children’s read that will take readers on a wonderful journey from beginning to end! The reader in Every Home Needs an Elephant will meet the young protagonist of the novel, nine-year-old Sarah who one day goes to the grocery store and comes home with an elephant!
Sarah’s new elephant brings new challenges to her life but also enhances it because despite the elephant knocking things over, not being able to fit through doorways and even being allergic to the neighbor’s cat! He also can do many wonderful things, the most prominent being his ability to be there for Sarah and keep her company which sparks a great change in Sarah’s life. Now Sarah’s mom starts spending more time with her, she makes a friend and feels excited and happy in her life and this book lovers is the short premise of the wonderful Every Home Needs an Elephant! Which is an inspiring story about being yourself, and having adventures.

Heinrichs’s faultless writing combined with her intriguing characterization of characters makes Every Home Needs an Elephant a stellar read that will keep you hooked until the very end! Heinrichs ensures that readers are entertained throughout, and she does this by lacing plenty of entertaining moments and adventure throughout the book to ensure readers will never get bored which is always a sign of a true wordsmith!
