The reader in Doctor Lucifer will be introduced to Dr. Mark Lin, who finds himself the target of a hacker but not any hacker… a hacker that targets hospitals and their doctors and the medical records with deadly consequences. Three of Dr. Mark Lin’s patients have already suffered the consequences of this but Mark is forced to take the blame for this crime. However as time goes on and the hacks become more crippling, he devises a plan to catch ‘Doctor Lucifer’ while protecting his honor and reputation and what follows is a shocking and truly brilliant novel that shouldn’t be missed!
The story of Doctor Lucifer is brilliant, and I adored the journey the wonderful author took me on. Anthony Lee managed to incorporate many unexpected twists effortlessly so that the readers will turn the page with haste! As I read this book, I found myself re-reading parts because of how shocking it was! It was magnificent to feel this, and I love it when an author does this to a reader, this is how reading should be! Full of shocks and surprises and great thrilling moments that you will remember for a long time; if not forever!
Anthony Lee is a brilliant writer who has written a fantastic story and come up with a brilliant plot. Lee from the very start sets the tone of the novel; he lets his readers know that this is going to be a dark and atmospheric book thanks to his literature and wow was it! Lee is exceptional because he grabs his reader’s attention from the start very quickly and keeps them engrossed until the end. There are no long build-ups that drag in Doctor Lucifer; instead, the reader will be thrown into the thick of the story quickly, and the result of this is exciting (and slightly terrifying!).
Anthony Lee is a talented author; there is no question about this. Lee’s writing keeps the reader on the edge of their seat; his suspense-filled book reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies; there is a constant feeling of trepidation and a continuous sense of “what is going to happen next?!” as I read this book. I was enthralled because this is how thriller books should be! So truly book lovers, this book needs to be read and loved!
To conclude my thoughts on this exceptional story, I would say if you have been bored of late of books that well, don’t thrill you, then take a chance with this one because it is an all-consuming assault of brilliance that will keep you entertained from the beginning to end! Doctor Lucifer gets five stars from me! So be sure to have a read of the preview book lovers, you won’t regret it!
