RED HEADED BOOK LOVER

Deceit of the Mind, Henry Cox

It has taken millennia for genetic mutations to develop a quantum-bio superconductor medium that might lead to a functional quantum computer. Humanity will drastically change – if it does not self-destruct first.

Benjamin Oliver, a semi-retired attorney in Kansas and a cancelled dark operative in the oldest U.S. clandestine service, was called back to recover long lost mineral samples and then entrusted with the development of new technologies and resources. The U.S. Government is trying to take the technology – even if it means terminating with extreme prejudice.

Benjamin’s serendipitous team of international intelligence operatives migrates back into action while Benjamin is following the trail of a covered-up kidnapping and the others are tracking down a suspicious supercomputer hacking financial-banking data and intelligence satellites. Benjamin’s intuition tells him they are all related.

The trail leads from Kansas to Texas, D.C. to Vienna, London to Denmark, and Austria to Germany – 662 A.D. to Present Day. There are hidden forces at play and the team is caught in the crosshairs, with triggers being pulled, as they attempt to unravel the events before it’s too late.

Deceit of the Mind is a stunning piece of literature that enthralled, entertained, and enchanted me from the very first page!
