The reader will be introduced to the protagonist of the novel, Cleric20 who finds himself caught up in a plot to save the world. The reader will learn that the President is actually the devil and he is looking to start Armageddon early. The President’s plan so far has backfired as a weapon he deployed gave Cleric20 superpowers that could stop the President and his devilish plans. The reader will follow Cleric20 as he learns to harness his new powers and stop the President before he brings forth Armageddon and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Complete Darkness!
Complete Darkness is a fantasy novel that has an in-depth plot, and I have to say, I adore this! I love fantasy and love intense fantasy novels because they place the reader right in the thick of the novel without issue and make you invest in the story quickly! This is the power of the author’s words; Matt Adcock is a rare talent because he manages to grab the reader’s attention effortlessly and quickly! Matt Adcock truly is an incredible author who has created a fantastic, brilliant story and it is evident to me that Adcock has invested an enormous amount of time into his novel because it is perfectly executed and full of vibrant, descriptive scenes.
Matt Adcock can only be described as a literary artisan. Writing for me is an art form and the objective of any great writer is that of any artist; it is to communicate a message and to delight the recipient whether that be the listener, the viewer, or the reader… in this case the reader. Adcock has wonderfully delighted me and has made me fall in love with his book and this is a sign that he is an incredible writer who knows how to grip his reader’s attention with ease!
To conclude my thoughts on the incredible novel that is Complete Darkness; I would say if you are a reader who is tired of reading lackluster fantasy novels then take a chance with Complete Darkness; because I promise you now that you will not be disappointed!
