Brunt and Eggbert is a wonderful and exciting read for young children that will keep readers entertained, captivated, and engrossed from start to finish! Now that I have finished Brunt and Eggbert I can honestly write that I haven’t been this captivated by a children’s read in a long time and this is thanks to the sensational author Jeff Dorrill! That is why I already have to recommend this book to you lovely readers, however, if you need more convincing then continue to read to learn more about Brunt and Eggbert!
Brunt and Eggbert is a wonderfully unique and beautiful children’s book that will take young readers on a captivating, inspiring, and memorable journey! The reader in Brunt and Eggbert will meet Brunt, a monster who may look scary but is very kind, and a little orphaned boy called Eggbert. When Brunt happens upon Eggbert, they instantly develop a bond and this flourishes into a father-son relationship as they make a home for themselves in the monster’s cave.
The monster Brunt, feels that he wants to provide and care for Eggbert and so he starts to make pottery to make money for Eggbert’s schooling. The reader will follow the pair as they grow in their father-son toles but their unlikely family will be torn apart when Brutn is discovered and taken away from Eggbert. What follows is a captivating and poignant tale that sees the pair trying to reunite and it makes for a beautiful and unforgettable children’s book that shouldn’t be missed! And this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Brunt and Eggbert!
Brunt and Eggbert is an excellent, well-developed story thanks to the author Jeff Dorrill. Dorrill manages to magnificently develop his world with immaculate detail and absorb readers into his story with ease! This combined with the stunning illustrations makes Brunt and Eggbert an unmissable read that will alight readers’ minds with amazement from the very start!
Jeff Dorrill is an incredible writer who flawlessly writes his fantastic journey and takes his readers on an engaging journey that makes the reader feel included. Dorrill’s faultless writing combined with his intriguing characterization of characters makes Brunt and Eggbert a stellar read that will keep you hooked until the very end! Dorrill ensures that readers are entertained throughout, and he does this by lacing plenty of entertaining moments and adventure throughout the book to ensure readers will never get bored which is always a sign of a true wordsmith!
As Brunt and Eggbert is a beautiful, astounding, and compelling book that should not be missed, I, of course, have to award this novel five stars!
