Anvil of God is a thrilling, compelling, and memorable historical adventure that will take the reader back in time on an epic, unforgettable journey that will shock as well as entertain readers from start to finish! Anvil of God is a sensational novel that has a classic, effortless feel to it that made it a joy to read and had me reading nonstop. As I read this book I did not want it to end, I was enchanted by the author’s incredible words from the first page, and this is all thanks to his addictive plot and extraordinary characters. Anvil of God is a unique and brilliant novel that will take its readers on a journey back in time to 741, where we meet Mayor Charles the Hammer who after successfully subduing Paganism, looks to tackle another goal – to take the throne. However Charles is dying and so the reader will follow Charles as he forms a plan to divide the kingdom between his three sons, and has also betrothed his daughter to secure the southern border. However, despite these plans, his death brings chaos and the reader will follow the fallout and the fight for power and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible Anvil of God!
Anvil of God is an incredible novel that has an in-depth plot, and I have to say, I adore this! J. Boyce Gleason is an incredible author for his ability to write such an in-depth novel and he is a brilliant talent for his ability to grab the reader’s attention effortlessly and quickly! I found the plot of this book to be captivating, it absorbed me very early on and I never once got bored. This again is all thanks to Gleason and his great talent for writing historical fiction with a twist! Gleason truly is an incredible author who has created a fantastic, brilliant story and it is evident to me that Gleason has invested an enormous amount of time into his novel because it is perfectly executed and full of vibrant, descriptive scenes and well-developed characters!
Anvil of God has everything the reader would want in a read and so much more; it has spine-tingling good content, dynamic, memorable characters, an incredible author who writes beautifully and wonderfully, and lastly it is an all-around, entertaining, unforgettable read!
To summarize my thoughts on the incredible novel that is Anvil of God; I would say if you are a reader who is tired of reading lackluster novels then take a chance with Anvil of God, because I promise you now that you will not be disappointed!
