Mysteries and thrillers are my go-to read and rarely do I come across a thriller that hooks me as quickly as this one but this one did and exceeded my expectations. In A Midsummer Night’s Murder, we meet the protagonists of the novel, Jack Dunn and his wife Martha Healey whose idyllic day at the lake is disrupted when they discover a body, that bares resemblance to a similar death committed thirty years ago in the same location… which leads them to believe the killer is still on the loose and got away with murder twice.
Jack and Martha soon find themselves pulled into this mystery and long-buried secrets will rise and place them in danger and what follows is a thrilling and shocking tale that shouldn’t be missed, and this book lovers is the short premise of the incredible A Midsummer Night’s Murder!
The story laced throughout A Midsummer Night’s Murder is full of thrills and suspense and these two themes, combined with many others, even poignant ones! Are weaved together flawlessly by the author Maggie McChristie and the result is an incredibly entertaining story that I will not forget for a long time!
Maggie McChristie is the author of A Midsummer Night’s Murder and I wish so much I had found her work sooner! I wish I had because it has been a long time since I have read a thriller tale this good! So I was thrilled to discover A Midsummer Night’s Murder as it is an incredible book, full of twists and turns galore and sensational literature courtesy of McChristie.
Maggie McChristie has managed to write a tale that makes for the perfect and shocking thriller. McChristie’s book is sensational because her tale knows just how to whisk her readers away and take them on an adventure full of ups and downs and many thrilling moments! As well as this the descriptions are incredible and they will correctly place you in the thick of the story, making you imagine every detail as well as making you imagine you are right there with the characters of the novel! This, in turn, keeps the reader hooked and turning the pages which is what a reader would want in a novel!
Overall A Midsummer Night’s Murder is a magnificent, sensational, and entertaining book that will easily entertain its readers and captivate them to read for many hours so I, of course, have to award this incredible book five stars!
