The Military Mustang is a captivating book full of rich history and many fascinating and educational moments. The reader in The Military Mustang will be taken on a journey as we immerse ourselves in the lives of enlisted personnel and officers throughout different times in history – taking a deeper look into the trials and tribulations of military service but also victories and all the good that comes from it too.
The reader will meet Thomas Adam’s who gets caught up in the Civil War and the Battle of Gettysburg, U.S. Army Soldier Sergeant George Greay as he is deployed to the Philippines to fight the Japanese and Flight Commanders Captain Norah Katz deployed in Qatar. All three people’s lives will move you with their poignancy as well as enlighten you and even educate you. It makes for a stunning collection of stories which all do an incredible job of entertaining you while moving you at the same time while highlighting the highs and lows of military service and that is why it is a book that should definitely not be missed!
The tale of The Military Mustang is gripping, moving, and let’s not forget thrilling too! The stories laced throughout truly did astound me with its captivating narration and compelling plotline. As well as it being an excellent and fascinating book, it is also a unique, diverse one that stands out amongst the military genre (fiction and nonfiction) and I have to say that I adored this because I was getting very tired of reading the same old books so thank you, Brandon W. Seyl, for writing a book that is fresh and gripping as well as important!
Brandon W. Seyl can only be described as a talented, accomplished writer who knows what a reader wants in a great story. As I read The Military Mustang, I read every sentence slowly so that I could absorb all of the book’s information; I felt as if I was there and it made for an immersive reading experience. Seyl is an excellent writer who is well accomplished, and his work astounded me from the very beginning thanks to his storytelling.
To conclude my thoughts on the captivating tale that is The Military Mustang, I would say if you are bored with the same old books then take a chance with this gem because you will not be disappointed. It has everything you would want in a great story, and that is spine-tingling good content, dynamic, memorable characters, and a brilliant author.
