Two Images of God: Quest, Brian P. Sheets

Action & Adventure, Espionage & Conspiracy, Literature & Fiction, Military Fiction, Politics

The conflict between Muslims and non-Muslims is not just imaginary.

It’s very real.

In Book 1 of the Two Images of God series, Quest explores the search for peaceful co-existence between Christianity, Islam, and Judaism by revealing people who are more focused on the character of an individual rather than their religious affiliation. Members of clergy, science, medicine, and education come together to explore a common viewpoint that provides a basis for communication.

But, their comradery is short-lived as their blissful coexistence is abruptly halted by militant forces bent on seeing them destroyed. Following a deadly attack at their archaeological site in Israel, will their new-found friendships last? Or, will they revert back to the prejudices of their native religious beliefs?

Two Images of God-Quest begins as a journey of discovery, gaining speed like a heavily laden train, until it arrives at breakneck pace that will leave you on the edge of your seat!

Two Images of God: Quest is the first book in the Two Images of God series written by the fantastic and well-accomplished author Brian P. Sheets. Sheets series is a different kind of military series as it deals with themes that many authors would run a mile from! That is why I am so impressed with Sheets for not only writing about subjects which are not openly and commonly discussed but also because he has written about them in his story exceptionally well! From beginning to end I was entertained by Two Images of God: Quest and so I hope that you lovely readers will be too if you decide to read this exceptional book.

Two Images of God: Quest is a unique book that ‘explores the search for peaceful co-existence between Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.’ Brian P. Sheets at the beginning of his description of the book discusses that there is a conflict between Muslims and non-Muslins and that it is very real and this difference is explored throughout the book. In the book, the reader will read about a peaceful co-existence between the three core religions discussed, but instead of focusing on their religions, they are all focusing on the character of an individual and so they all join together to explore a common viewpoint. However, this is short-lived because soon militant forces invade and attempt to destroy their peaceful co-existence. The reader will follow the events after this, and the result is thrilling; the reader will be guessing whether their peaceful co-existence will last or whether they will revert to their old ways with their prejudices and hate. The result of all of this is a highly entertaining and thrilling and a story that should not be missed so please take my advice when I recommend that you read this incredible book!

The story of Two Images of God: Quest is most certainly a shocking and unique one, however, I adore that the book is this way because books as such are hard to come by. I love the fact that the author Brian P. Sheets is so brazen with his writing and story and has decided to break away from the norm in the military genre and write a powerful, thought-provoking and entertaining story. Never before have I discovered a book that deals with themes of religions coming together with the attempt of being destroyed, it is an outstanding premise and I applaud Sheets for thinking of it.

Brian P. Sheets is a masterful writer in my opinion because in his book he manages to build suspense from beginning to end, so much so that the reader will feel as if they are on tenterhooks. Sheets has a flawless ability to build suspense by shocking and surprising the reader with the twists and turns laced throughout the book as well as build tension with the storyline and the unfolding events. The action throughout the book is thrilling and will captivate readers from the first moment it happens, but it will also terrify and shock readers as the military scenes are brutal, vivid and realistic.

Not only is Brian P. Sheets a master at building suspense but he is also a brilliant descriptive writer who knows how to describe his characters and events incredibly well. The dramatic scenes that unfold are so well written that they will be vivid in your mind and you will be moved by the events thanks to the emotive powers. As Two Images of God: Quest is a sensational and unforgettable story that will thrill, excite and entertain you I, of course, have to award this book five stars! So please, do have a read of this book and keep an eye out for my review of the second book in the series called Two Images of God: Discontent!

This series took (8) years to compose. Beginning in 2010, when events of the war in the Middle East were on the forefront of the nightly news, I was drawn to the question “Why can’t we all get along?” In researching the topic, it became apparent that the conflict was more than one-sided; more than ideological. People exist in all religions that seek peace over war which should have a positive influence on the balance of the population. Yet, the opposite seems to be true – conflict seems to dominate over peace. I wanted to write a series in which… Read more »
