Desperate for a fresh start, Jazz McNally pours her energy into renovating her grandparent’s mansion overlooking Lake Michigan. Her goal is to turn the cherished childhood home into a bed and breakfast she’d manage with her twin sister. Jazz doesn’t mind the hard work, until vandals strike. She needs help fast or risk missing the date of their grand opening and being in debt to her four older brothers.

Drifter Dalton O’Brien doesn’t mind giving Jazz a hand, knowing once the job was complete he’d be on his way. But he enjoys spending time with her, more than he should. When vandalism escalates into danger, Dalton is determined to keep Jazz safe. Can he let go of the ghosts in his past long enough to embrace the future?

The story of To Love is an incredibly entertaining one laced with many profound themes throughout the book. I admit that I was guilty of assuming from the description that To Love would be a cliché romance story but when I started to read it I knew full well that this book was not that kind of read. Instead, To Love is a phenomenal novel full of powerful themes which are all excellently explored and weaved well together by the phenomenal author Laura Scott.

Laura Scott is an incredible author (who is also a USA Today bestselling author!) who has managed to transfix and entertain me with her beautiful literature. I am impressed by the amount of depth Scott has managed to lace throughout her book; Scott ensures throughout her book that her readers are entertained and thrilled from beginning to end, and Scott does this by weaving twists and turns throughout her book which yes, are incredibly entertaining! As well as this Scott flawlessly weaves brilliant characterization and development of her characters that will keep the readers turning the pages from beginning to end.

Laura Scott is an exceptional author for many reasons, but one of the primary attributes I love about her writing is the characterization of the characters the reader comes across in the book; specifically Jazz McNally, readers will definitely be able to root for Jazz from beginning to end. I immediately loved Jazz because she is a relatable and believable character and this is thanks to her incredible characterization courtesy of Laura Scott.

Overall To Love is an extraordinary piece of fiction that will entertain and thrill readers from beginning to end so I, of course, have to award the book five stars! It would be criminal not to. The next book in the McNally Series To Cherish is available for pre-order now with a release… Read more »
