The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon, Christine E. Schulze

Children & Picture Book

Three sisters. A two-headed dragon. Aliens, fairies, and genies—oh my! Diona, Nixie, and Brook love each other, but their fighting is out of control. One day, their bickering gets them lost in the woods, where they are each given a special task: find a way to make the Weeping Two-Headed Dragon happy again. If they can do this, they will find both their way home and a great treasure. Hmm… Cheer up a two-headed dragon, win awesome treasure. Sounds like a good deal…ri-i-ight? The task soon proves to be trickier than any of the three sisters had thought. To help the dragon and get back home, they must find a way to remember that two heads are better than one—and three are even better!

The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon is a children’s book that will take young readers on an action-packed adventure which will entertain and delight them from start to finish. The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon is one of the most well-developed children’s stories I have ever come across, and so I am so happy I have discovered this book because books with such a high quality such as this one are rare to come by! It is the sad truth that many children books are not written to a high standard, and I understand why some authors may write their children’s book this way because after all, children mostly want a fast-paced story and to look at colorful pictures, however, this is not always the best option. The child will most likely enjoy the story however they won’t remember it. Personally, as a mother, I look for children books which my children will remember and want to re-read, and The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon is that book.

The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon is an incredible book that will take children on an unforgettable adventure. The reader will be introduced to three young sisters, and like most sisters, they bicker… a lot! There bickering one day lands them in trouble when they find themselves lost in the woods with no idea how to get back home. So when they are given a task to make the ‘weeping two-headed dragon’ be happy again, in return for safe passage home, they agree! And this is where their adventure begins. The reader will follow Diona, Nixie and Brook as they go on an adventure that proves harder than first thought and along the way many truths will be shared and this book lovers is the premise of the sensational The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon!

The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon is an expertly written children’s book with a story that is well developed and memorable and a story that I guarantee children with love thanks to its fast-paced but engaging narrative and the sensational story that unfolds. If you are a parent or know children in your family or friendship groups and want the child to read an engaging story which they won’t be able to stop thinking about, then The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon is that book! The book is a delight, and Christine E. Schulze perfectly excites and charms her young readers from start to finish, and that is why I have to recommend this book to all children.

The story of The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon is a thrilling one thanks to the enthralling and action-packed moments as well as the unpredictable nature of the book that will have the readers turning the pages with haste from beginning to end. I love children books that involve a journey because usually in the journey the character develops and grows as they overcome events and battles which in turn adds to the development of the character and explores life lessons throughout the book and that is most certainly the case with The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon.

Christine E. Schulze is an incredibly talented author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories. It was evident to me from the start that Schulze is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining children with her literature and putting a smile on children’s faces. I loved this about the author but what I loved the most about Schulze’s writing is her remarkable descriptions because they genuinely amazed me.

Overall The Puzzle of the Two-Headed Dragon is an excellent book that will captivate readers from beginning to end with its twisty-turny plot and exciting narrative so I, of course, have to award the book five stars! Be sure to keep an eye out for my spotlight for the author which will be live soon!

Heya!! Thanks so much again, Aimee, for your kind review, and so glad you enjoyed the book!! The three sisters are actually inspired by my three nieces, and the dragon itself is based upon some dragon sea horses I saw when I visited an aquarium.

Anyone here is welcome to ask me anything, personally or about the book!! Thanks again, and happy reading!!
