The Clock That Stopped, Steven J. Scott

Contemporary Fiction, Literature & Fiction, Mystery & Suspense

Elise Evans a teenage girl is seeking for meaning in the all automatic, repetitive and scheduled life. She will find a world full of secrets in the small town of Monroe, Michigan. Starting with a mansion that has 1 and 1/2 floors, a mysterious set of gold watches and a history teacher death. All of them are linked together and people in this town seem to know more then they appeared at first. Trying to find meaning, falling in love with her high-school classmate and learning new and new things. The mystery of all of this will have a beginning as far as Nostradamus. The phrase time is very relative that it can run very fast when you are enjoying it or slow down if you are dragging through a dislike moment. This story will give a thrill to the hypothetical question: What if the characters from “Twilight” were sitting with “Harry Potter” reading “The Da vinci code toghether.” Mystery, fast-paced thriller, romance, a pinch of sci-fi / fantasy in the Young adult category, this book finish will be both unexpected and just the beginning.
